My friend told me that HDTVs slow down brawl by 2 frames

I really dont believe him because it just seems a bit far fetched

However if its true than so be it,

If you have any proof that would be great too.

♥ My post count is my age. Deal with it.
Yes having some sort of tvs would cause lag while others don't.

Solution to lag:
-component cables: nintendo officially sell these. It'll cut down lag by a lot

also don't download big stuff during playing, as it will also cause lag.
hoped that helped. :)

Just because it has High resolution does not mean it slows down Brawl. I have one and it works perfectly fine. And you friend is probably a John because you obviously win to much and he makes random excuses like :"I HAS HD TV SO DAT WHEN U USE BRWALZZ ON MAH WII IT SLOW DOWN GAME!" or he needs to get his Wii checked.

And for proof: What's more proof than words?

I remember feeling the same thing on my first HD tv (it was melee back then), but later somehow got used to it. Not sure if it was only an optical illusion or it was that i REALLY just got used to it.

Yes. Component cables lower the lag though.

I don't have any proof though...it's just something everyone knows and accepts as reality.
