Do Gamecube Shoulder Buttons work in Ultimate without the springs?

Or do we need to do some soldering to make them work? or they wont work at all no matter what?

If your controllers require "soldering" in order to function, I don't know what to tell you.

They do not. Although it was heavily anticipated that they would, nintendo has emulated the smash 4 mechanic to a T - they trigger at 50% slider motion, not digital. digital is completely ignored by the game in menus and in game.

I was and am extremely disappointed.

can confirm they do not work, removed the springs and they just dont work in smash ultimate but they work in other games
