Do Aliens really exist?

I have seen a few what I believe are UFO's! My brother, sister, and I were out in the yard playing, bout 7 years ago, and we saw this weird thing in the sky! It looked like this &gt; and was flying &lt;&lt;&lt;&lt; that way... So it couldn't of been a airplane... cause the wings were on backwards... That and it was there for like 20 minutes.. moving really really slow... Then about 3 years ago... My bro's friend and I were out in the alley playing hacky-sack, and I don't know why but I looked up, and I saw a faint dot in the sky... I was staring at it, and it was also moving very slow... Like 2 minutes later... It was gone, no where to be seen at all, even though just a few moments before that, it was right above us!!! Then, my friend said he saw one up close!!! He said him and his brother couldn't sleep one night, so they went out front to play some street hockey, yes... street hockey at 3 in the morning <img border="0" alt="[Crazy]" title="" src="graemlins/crazy.gif" /> Anyways, he said that a UFO was hoving right above some trees that are in this island in the road... he said they ran into there driveway and kinda hid... Then it supposedly went away... and they went back out to play again... (why would you do that lol) He said they saw it again flying way higher up and that was that... Then, you have Area 51... the alien autopsy, and all these other shows... so... have you ever saw a UFO? Do you believe there is intelligent life out there? I do...

Based on the assumption that the universe has no limits, and that we know of millions of galaxies, and don't even know about them all, I'm gonna guess the chances of life SOMEWHERE out there are pretty d@mn good.

However, I don't believe in UFOs. They defy logic. If we arrived on an alien planet, would we just hover around and not interact with the beings there? No, that doesn't make sense. The reason for space travel is exploration and learning. Kinda hard to learn from the "natives" when you fly miles above the earth or disappear when some kids are playing street hockey nearby. It just doesn't make sense.

So yes, there are "aliens" out there somewhere, but no, they haven't found earth yet (probably for the same reasons that we haven't found them).

I believe alien life exists. However, I don't believe humanity will ever contact them. The distances are too far and the chance of life is too low. What you saw was probably a <a href="http://www.howstuffworks.com/mirage.htm" target="_blank">mirage</a>, believe it or not. There are also other explanations as to what you saw, but they're too numerous to explain here.

As for the abductions, I think it's ridiculous and people only make those claims in an attempt to get attention. They could do it for other reasons, too, I suppose.

I believe in aliens. There have been many strange sightings of weird lights in the sky. There were even pictures of them in the newspaper!

In the sixth grade my class had a debate about this. I say that aliens could exist. There is still much of the universe we haven't explored yet.

Alien life is something that is rather too possible. We have found micro organisms in the ice caps and rock on Mars. There is alien life, if not as intelligent as you believe. Exactly as Battle Cruiser said, I doubt that aliens just float around and look at people. The human race alone capture animals to study them, we don't watch them and then run off when we have enough information.

Ok, ok. We kinda do that now, but we already know so much about animals. Aliens probably can't reach Earth. I'm sure that if they had such powerful technology that enabled them to travel at the speed of the light, and have harmful laser technology that they would have enslaved the Earth a long time ago.

So in truth, I believe aliens exist, they just don't have they same technology we do. Who knows, maybe aliens are on the other side of the universe debating the same thing in their own debate hall .

I believe Aliens do exist and the existence of UFOs. I also beleive that they do abduct people and do experiments on them. But you know as well as I do that if the government was able to go another planet where there was life on it, that they would abduct Aliens and do experiments on them.

I think that very advance beings live ot there as well as unicelular ones. The Universe has existed for so long that they could have evolved before us. For example we have the martians of Perfect Dark and the Protoss. I know both are fiction characters but they are a good example). They are so advanced that they take care of other races, but don't interfer with their natural evolution because that could harm them. I think that someone is taking care of us, protecting us.

Interesting idea, Olimar. However, i still don't buy the existence of UFO's. The idea of any intelligent alien travelling any amount of light years so they can scare farmers and rednecks is preposterous. True, some may say that they are observing us, or keeping clear so as not to contaminate us, but any casual observer would see immediately humanity's notions of aliens.

If we were aliens and we came upon a planet, and saw they viewed all aliens as puddles of slime with eye-stalks, wouldn't we be moved to go down and rectify their pre-conceptions?

Also, if one were to imagine the entire universe as a chalk board in size. Our GALAXY would be less than a pinpoint on it. That's how large the universe is. The idea of life only existing in one solar system is ludicrous.

To sum it all up, Aliens exist, but UFOs don't.

Is your brain in a jar on your desk? Of course there could be life elsewhere in the universe. It's just the planetary conditions that have to be right, and the odds of our planet being the only planet with those conditions are, ballpark terms here, infinity to one. Or zero to one, whichever gets the point across better.

Anyways, there is not enough proof to prove anything on aliens. Think of this: If there really were aliens, wouldn't they have came by now and "invaded the earth" with their lazers and space ships? I say aliens aren't all they're made up to be, just something spotted in the sky and over-exaggerated.

I was watching a TLC program about a week ago, and it said how in the 1980's, now the american and Canadian Goverenment covered up for alien consperisy! So either this is the second biggest hox (next to crop circles, which to I know the're done) or the goverenment is scared and won't release it to the public!!!

But in my opinion, no aliens don't exist. There figures of our aminination. Only fiction and fantasy...

Something i want to say to all those people that say: "If aliens found us by now they would already have started shooting at us with lasers and invade our planet." Well you guys believe too much of the movies you saw. If they are intelligent beings that have that advanced technology then they must be smarter than us and know that war is good for nothing (which some of us humans unfortunatly have not realized yet) so instead of eradicating us they'd study us and make peace with us. Though i don't think they'd share us their technology since, after studying us, they'd know there will be idiots among us that will try to use that technology as weapons and that will lead to ... yep, you're right ... war. Anyway back on topic. Yes, I believe there are aliens out there but no, I don't think they have found us already or if they found us and are smart, they'd probably try to avoid all contact with us. Maybe they study us from a distance to see if they might consider communication with later.
