DLC Leaker Returns

Last week a leaker posted a picture of Chrom and Ridley and said they were either DLC or they were cut. He claims that the character's textures were jumbled so he had to put them together the best he could.

He posted this on Reddit:

Good afternoon Smashers! If you recall, last week I posted a image of Chrom and Ridley and I mentioned how they were either DLC or cut or it could be both, maybe Chrom was cut and the Ridley is DLC? I wasn't 100% sure at the time. I found two more jumbled textures and I put them together. I ended up with this. (Please note that I arranged them into one picture)

What do you guy's think? Remember he said that they might just be cut characters so don't jump on the hype train yet.

Games out, guys. The ROM has been dumped. If theres gonna be dlc, nobody will know what it is until nintendo lets the cat out of the bag themselves.

Of course Chrom's texture is in the game as he is in Robin's final smash and I believe victory screen sometimes(Haven't seen it myself).

Interesting interesting.. the Ridley face looks new from what I can remember (and I've seen that purple squat's face a lot) but then again things like this can be photoshopped if you place someone at it who's slightly skilled at it.
At this point it's still anyone's guess but I will be happy to see them address some more requested characters. (Chrom is cut without a doubt though :/ Sakurai made that quite clear)

It's easy to call these fake but until we can get a source for those renders they remain plausible. That looks like Mega Mewtwo X because his eyes are blue (it makes sense that MMX would be playable considering Mewtwo is just a standard trophy, plus he's a fighting type) Also, that Ridley render looks believable to me, and coincides with the lack of his trophy in game, same with Bandanna Dee. I may be grasping at straws, but after everyone thought the ESRB leak was fake I've learned to not dismiss this sort of thing until it's proven right or wrong.

Remember Chrom was probably cut, they could've just used the same render as a player icon. Something I'm surprised no one has thought of yet is It's also possible that the texture he found could have come from the player icons?

No matter how popular FE: Awakening was, I have a hard time seeing Chrom being DLC and bumping up the Awakening count to 3 characters. And that's disregarding the fact of him being a part of Robin's final smash.

However, it does make this interesting in that Sakurai has actually said why Chrom wasn't in and yet this "leak" has him here anyway. That kind of makes me wonder, but something about the images just looks fake to me (plus Chrom's likely being from the profile stuff and otherwise just being the usual suspects for the DLC rumors) and I'm not getting my hopes up... though I wouldn't object at all to Chrom being DLC if it could not conflict with Robin's FS.

EDIT: If Chrom was cut and this is the remains of that though, things would be very interesting...

Ok, so some question immediately arise:

What is the picture supposed to be of? It doesn't look anything like any section of the actual game that we've seen. Proportions are off for character portraits, it's way too small for any of the actual render images, so what are we looking at?

Why is it so badly edited? Seriously. Ridley's lower jaw is cut off, Mewtwo's image bleeds a white line into Bandana Dee's image (which is smaller than the others by a pixel).

Chrom was never planned, so he couldn't be "cut". Sakurai briefly considered him, which is a completely different thing to having any kind of development put into him.

Maybe the texture he ripped was just from the icons.

I find it to be a bit pre-mature to think that DLC is already planned. Apparently, DLC will eventually come according to another thread, but wouldn't they wait until the Wii U version is released?
Also, I'm not believing these renders. They don't look good...

After being on TeamFake for the render leak of the rest of the characters, I believe anything is possible now. Therefore I am more optimistic no matter how far people go to prove something wrong.

Could be real (would be really want it to be, they're like all of my most wanted characters), but GOSH does that Bandana Dee and Mewtwo render look fake. I'm a HUGE supporter of the Dee and a supporter of Mewtwo, and if they're in I'd be so happy, but those pics looks pretty fake.
