DKWill: "It's such an amazing event for charity... I would love to see more of these pop up!"

Several top players from across the country this past weekend gathered together in one venue to attend the charitable event that is Smash the Record 2016. The VGBC and the iQHQ team were in attendance to participate in this event, Marcus "Pink Fresh" Wilson and William "DKWill" Walsh were kind enough to give some insight about the event by sharing with Smashboards there thoughts and impressions.

For those unfamiliar with DKWill, is a solo Donkey Kong main from New York. He is considered the best Donkey Kong player in the world in both Brawl and Smash 4 and has done well with him at high-level tournaments. Will is currently ranked 8th on the New York Smash and is considered a "lab monster", often streaming for hours at a time, labbing out percent-specific combos, kill confirms and other options. DKWill placed 3rd this Smash the Record, 33rd in doubles and took the win in the Play with Bae event with Mrs. Sayian.

For those unfamiliar with Pink Fresh, he is a player from Randallstown, Maryland who is considered to be one of the best Lucas players in both Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Project M, and one of the best Bayonetta mains in the world in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U along with Salem, Saj and Captain Zack. Pink Fresh placed 33rd in singles and 13th place in doubles with his partner TK Breezy.
