Smash Ace
Of course, we all know that Music is partially the reason SSBM was so great, what with its remixes of Zelda 2, the Metroid series, F-Zero, and several other prime Nintendo franchises. But what new musical tracks would you like to see in Brawl, remixed or otherwise? Well, I can't answer for you, but I can answer for me. Better yet. I'll include samples so you yourself can HEAR what I'm talking about, rather than just listening to me babble.
I have 10 choices and will be rating them, starting ith 10, and ending with 1 (obviously.) PLEASE read and/or listen to anything you like or do not know.
I will list the potential stage name, character, track, and game along with a description and link.
FINAL UPDATE: I have good news and bad news.
The good news is the links work properly and should remain that way. The only problem is you're going to arrive at Galbadia hotel on the page of the song I have listed. Simply click where it says "begin dowloading" and it will open up in your prefered music player.
Problem solved.
10. Sauria: Krystal: Sauria: SF Assault
This is probably my second favorite song in the SF series, and for good reason. It'd be perfect for a Saurian stage which would allow elements of Starfox Adventures and Star Fox Assault to be used in the game. Plus, it would encourage Krystal to use her "classic" staff wielding look. Perfect for Brawl, and catchy to boot, this track could easily be remixed or used right out of the box.

9. Any Earthbound stage: Ness: Sanctuary Battle: Earthbound
The definitive Boss battle from the Earthbound series. Only select bosses like the Titanic Ant, Mondo Mole, and Carbon Dog could fight with it, and its dark theme reminds you that Earthbound isn't always such a happy go lucky game. Could be used with any Earthbound stage.

8. Tal Tal Mountain Range: Link: Mt. Tamaranch: Link's Awakening
A very adventurous song despite its gameboy roots. This song has been remixed several times on ocremix.com and with good reason. Remixed by Uematsu, this song could possibly be the most remembered and beloved in the game. It'll certaintly get your adrenaline going.

7. Any random forest: Wario: Escape from the Woods: Wario Land II
It's disputable what Wario's theme song is, but if he did have one, this would be it in my opinion. It sounds very sneaky and devious, just like Wario, and like Link's awakening, being on the gameboy, it could easily be remixed by Uematsu.

6. Any Castlevania Stage: Simon Belmont: Bloody Tears: (Orig.) Castlevania II/ Haunted Castle
If you've ever played a Castlevania game, then you've probably heard bloody tears. Though Vampire Killer or Simon's theme could probably push this track out of the way if Simon Belmont is indeed put in Brawl, I've always liked Bloody Tears better. It's been remixed countless times, but never too much. Can't do much with perfection.

5. Hyrule Castle: Link: Great Palace: Zelda II
Another Zelda track? With the success the Palace theme saw in Melee, there's no reason this couldn't be in Brawl as well. The Great Palace from Zelda II had music just as Epic as the other palaces, and some could say it's even better. Given the same treatment the Palace music recieved in Melee, there's no doubt this would be a great track.

4. Forest: Geno: Forest Maze: Super Mario RPG
Finally, it's time to deliver to the Geno fans. A popular character is usually surrounded by popular music (Magus anyone?) and Geno is no different. The theme of the forest Maze solidified Geno's fanbase as many consider it his track due to it's whimsical melody, and the fact the Forest Maze was where he joined your party. Not realy battle music, but a little remixing could fix that.

3. Marble Zone: Sonic the Hedgehog: Marble Zone: Sonic the Hedgehog
Green Hill Zone is overrated. When people think of Music from Sonic the Hedgehog, they think of Star Light Zone, and of course, the Marble Zone. Everyone remembers those lava cascades, killer bees, death worms, and spike chandaliers of the old Genesis days. And why do they remember them? Because of this song.

2. Halberd: Meta Knight: Halfmoon/ Halberd take over: Kirby's Super Star
There are two potential tracks for the Halberd stage that we've all seen, and I've chosen for you, the better and more probable of the two. This is already good battle music and doesn't even need to be touched by the composers of the game. A little updating wouldn't hurt, but if you've ever played Kirby's Super Star, this is Meta Knight's definitive theme.

1. Any Starfox Stage: Wolf O'Donnel: Star Wolf Theme: (Orig.) Star Fox 64
Saw this one coming eh? This is THE definitive reason I want Wolf in the game. If they do not put this music in the game, I will be disappointed. It's already a perfect battle theme. It already gets your adrenaline up. And it needs absolutely no remixing. This is the single track I want most for Brawl, and if through some reason in the universe you've never heard it, take a gander below. This one is the SF Assault version of Wolf's theme.
