that was a lot of fun dk. cant wait till the next one. also, skins couldnt find his debit card at your place either. at first he noticed his wallet was gone then found it lying somewhere and the card was no longer in it. pretty sick if all this missing **** was stolen by the same guy
a debit card, a wallet, and a phone stolen. wow, i'll post my thoughts about all of this a little later.

I'm sad it's had to come down to this. If it was stolen, here's who I can vouch for:
Vist, Aho, Fonz, Slik, NKK, DOSV, Hova, Skins, Thumbs, DK, and Hat. I know these guys really well. Spent time with Skins and he seems like a great guy.
That leaves a lot of the Mushroom Kings and B-more's Finest open. 3 major things like a debit card, a wallet, and a phone couldn't have been misplaced. This statement is directed toward everyone who's name I didn't mention: If you KNOW you didn't take the stuff, you should be making an effort to find out who did because you will have a bad reputation for now on. This kind of thing NEVER happens in regards to the Smash Community; like Fonz said, we're not criminals, just usually really clumsy.
I hate that I gotta' ****ing buy another ****ing phone for $100 plus because some ******* decided to take advantage of DK's hospitality and everybody else's trust.
So if you know you didn't take the phone, step up. If this **** isn't found, I guarantee fests will be invite only, and it will be very strict. It sucks that people who didn't take the **** has to suffer, but that's just how it's going to go; you will be exiled from the community based off speculation.
If anyone knows anything about anything, don't be a pussie. Send me a message on SmashBoards and I'll keep your stuff confidential. If the person who stole the stuff wants to confess, I'll keep their identity hidden as well and I'm sure everything will be forgiven.

thanks omni, theres no way that this could all be a coincidence. but dont worry about skins, he immediately canceled the debit card as soon as he was sure it was lost. luckily, he had no money in his wallet when he misplaced it. which is probably why whoever found it took only the card and left the wallet

So, someone stole skins debit card, Omnis phone, Dks Wallet. Honestly, I'm disappointed. I thought I was in an environment where this kind of shady **** doesnt happen. Its really unfortunate that such a fun night ended this way. Whoever stole the stuff needs to man up

don't take it personal. my bull**** detector is amazing. also, i only put those crews out there so that the people who didn't do it will step up. seriously, if you didn't do it, don't be offended. to be completely honest, i have a very good idea of who did it, but i won't make claims without more concrete evidence.

by the way, omni, i was reading your fox guide and i have to ask how does one jump cancel a grab? also, i was watching some of the falcos play and they shine right after landing, but they dont jump they keep shining. someone told me its cause theyre jump canceling the shines. if they were jump canceling the shines, how come they werent jumping in the air after the shine?

Hmm, well, according to DOSV, Btree gives out money for no reason sometimes, so I really doubt that he would do it. As for Frozen, he's always got cash on him for expensive money matches so I don't think he did it either.
But I dunno, everyone not on that list seems like nice people, but you never know these things. I'm just here to give my 2cents on Btree and Frozen.

when you crouch cancel with fox, let's say against peaches down smash, does that mean youre crouching and holding down before and during her down smash or does that mean you must crouch the MOMENT she down smashes? and does this technique leave you unphased by that attack and allow you to shine her thereafter?

But that's really ****ty Omni. I'm gonna detail it, I left the kitchen twice the entire night. I left it once with DK, and I left it a second time with DOSV to show someone a clip of my cat on my phone. They're both on your cool list so ask them if I'm lying.
Also ask if MRK if I sat in the kitchen the entire night, because they spent most of it playing Dreamcast in the kitchen themselves. And Frozen wouldn't be stealing ****, unless he's a closet kleptomaniac and no one knew, he's not that type of guy.
I lost my own wallet Friday (Saturday morning), when I went drinking, I don't see why I would decide my only course of action be to steal someone else's wallet. But yeah, I didn't steal anything. I spent today canceling my lost card out, and trying to make sure I actually get my ****ing money come payday.
I'm so honestly insulted that I was accused of theft when I've been in the competitive Smash community since early 2005. And I gotta vouch for EE too. I mean EE's from New York so I can see the reasoning there (>_> <_<), but I REALLY doubt he stole anything either.
That's really ugly though.
Edit: Actually WHAT THE ****. How many times have I ****ing had people in my home for tournaments and biweeklies, and even just small groups? I would think that'd be enough to have people realize, I'm trusting AND trustworthy. You are gay to even ****ing include me since you've been to my house before.
I've been to Shaun's twice before this, I don't know why I'd think "oh ****, lucky three...I'd better unleash my blackness and steal ****".
I REALLY hate being accused even slightly of theft, why the **** did I go get a job if I was gonna make stealing my ****ing hobby.

No use pointing fingers everyone. I've been to fests with pretty much everyone who was there and there has never been an issue. Don't mean to accuse but who was the guy with short dreads who didn't seem to play any/much smash the entire time? That struck me as odd during the fest, who did he come with? Did he play any smash and I just missed it?
And to thumbswayup. CCing peach's dsmash is not a great idea, and no you won't be able to shine her right after. At 0% falco and I think fox as well can CC the first hit of the dsmash and shine before the second, but it's risky and not something I'd try.

look im sure he's not trying to offend anyone he's just pissed and wants to find out what happened...but wasnt there someone with the mks that isnt a mk? and who did DOSV bring again? and did anyone bring anyone else with them that wasnt on the list? cause thats where i wanna start looking first, people who were there that werent supposed to be. i wanna keep track of everyone that was there, and those people seem more random so i would rather find out about those people before we accuse anyone...besides i still have to do one more thorough check today because i havent been home lately so i havent done that yet...and a bunch of us are going to get together if the objects dont show up and we know who all was there and im sure between the lot of us we can narrow it down to who did it...
calm down. i said don't be offended if you didn't do it. i pointed out the two crews simply so the people who didn't do it would step up and search into it. you'd be pissed too if you had to replace a $150 phone with over 100 contacts on there.
it'll be easy to narrow it down if you just help us with the details. we can start with answering fonz/dk's questions.

ah, i see. thanks man. also i had a question about falco. i always see after he comes down with a spike on the ground and L-cancels to a shine while the opponent is shielding. but while the opponent keeps shielding i see the falco continue to shine rapidly in place. people tell me this is because he is jump canceling the shines. well if hes jump canceling the shines how come he isnt jumping in the air? how is he staying in one place shining away like crazy?

wavedashing also cancels the shine because u are actually jumping
so if u shine, u can cancel the lag by wavedashing in place and then shine again, rinse and repeat
the more technical players 'double shine'; if your fingers are fast enough you can shine, cancel the lag with a jump and then shine again before falco ever leaves the ground
edit: you really should take questions like these to the character specific area or just hit someone up on AIM so they can answer all your questions at once

this was moments after my crew members alerted me of the stolen phone. he tends to steal shet, and is a disgustingly potent liar. i'm forced to bring him along with me to fests cause everyone in mah family believes he's like..sane.
it'd be great if someone could drop'm a call about now. I want my parents to catch him in the act..i mean..nobody else has a red phone..i've never seen anyone with a red phone before. thhis can't be a coincidence.

frozen, appletree, and the majority of you guys. sorry i had to be so rough. i talked with dk for a while and we basically came to the conclusion it had to be the guy with the dredlocks. problem was we weren't too sure who he was with and even if we did know, we didn't know how we could get him to turn himself in. that's why i had to "point a finger" at the two crews; by saying that entire crew is will have a bad reputation, i figured that would give everyone an incentive to look into this mess and not blow it over. <3 MRK & B-more

Well, there's little evidence besides the model of the phone...this would be an AMAZING coincidence, though.
I hope the measures taken aren't too drastic...everyone thinks this is all my fault now ><; I really want no trouble... but until this phone is charged, there's nothing i can to towards proving it.
