Now that it’s NOT 1 am, I can finally sit down and post a proper update (And not have Scav beat me to it by 5 seconds).

So, lets start with the most obvious and largest piece of Brawl news. We have a release date for Smash Bros Brawl of December 03 for the US. Strangly there wasn’t any mention of a Japan release, leaving some to speculate it might hit the US first, like the DS and Wii. Also, <a href="http://ms.nintendo-europe.com/e32007/enGB/pr_releaselist.html">posted on Nintendo Europe</a>, Brawl has been given a release date of “2008.” Crap. Expected, but still disliked.

Gee, wonder what this paragraph’s about. He was seen in a snippet of footage in one of the Montage’s, but was officially conformed on todays Dojo update. He’s returning with similar moves, including his Giant Punch, his down B (sigh) and his “Cargo Carry, aka Forward Throw. There’s also a move shown that may or may not be his Back throw or Foward tilt.

The other update today contained a small, 15 second clip of footage of various Dojo updates, including the Cracker Launcher (RUN AWAAAAAY!), the Bridge of Eldin stage (which is pretty damn long!) and the Final Smash of Pikachu and Bowser.

Okay, On the eldin stage if you pause it right before the bomb blows up there is what looks to be a miniature caveman like thing. This sounds crazy, but this is the only description I can thing of that works. I have a screen that I took, but I don’t know what to do with it. I know that someone on smashboards said something about it being sonic, but this is a thing in a different place at a different time of the screen. I donno what to do with the screen so just post here and tell me what to do with it.

I also do not have enough time on my hands to scan all of the threads at Smashboards, but I’m pretty sure no one mentioned it.

No It’s clearly not sonic. also it can be seen by the movement of the creature that it wasn’t playable. i think it was probably a minor enemy from twilight princess, it purpose for being there unknown.

I saw that thing too and im going to have to agree the homeless. It looks like a trap on the stage or something….but it could be an assist trophy

When I looked at it, it looked like a bomb in some sort of barrel…

I’m not saying it’s sonic, I’m saying that other people said it might have been. It’s clearly not an assist trophy because everyone of those we have seen have jumped right into the heat of battle, and its standing off on the far side of the map. It could be something about the level, but it wasn’t mentioned on the Dojo. DK was in the video, so why not another character that they have yet to mention. If anybody wants the screen I could email it to you, because I honestly think this is something more. It looks like a caveman and a troll mixed, but its the height of kirby.

It’s definately a barrel. I’m assuming it’s part of the flow of the level; it breaks the bridge, which is supposed to happen periodicly as you fight.

Good to see they’re keeping another old fighter. Can’t believe I missed that DK was in the video yesterday.

Also that’s not one of DK’s forward throws or back throws, it’s his F-Tilt

The caveman is one of the goblin/things that appears in the bridge of Eldin in Zelda teh Twilight princess o.o (maybe they will appear randomly with the evul and fat boss with his pig and in both sides throwing arrows), maybe we can see Midna when the bridge falls again XD.


Hope midna is a character like zelda *drools*

I’m sort of dissapointed with this update. I hope all the next few updates aren’t just the small things they announce at E3. It’d be kind of cheap. :/

it’s not sonic, it looks like it’s those goblin enemies from Twilight, the minions of King Bulblin .. since it’s a stage from Zelda Twilight princess i think it’s not a trophy. maybe they appear sometimes in the stage just like King Bulblin… what do you think?

wow ok how did you come up with SONIC in the pic, it is obviously one of the orges that shoot fire in the real game dude, and that is a barrel that you see also. Anyways about the release date i am both happy and sad by it because know we dont have to wonder but it is soooooo far away! lol O well we can wait for one of the greatest games ever made!

Once more if you actually read what I posted I said that other people said that it was sonic, and I am saying that it is not. I wanted to know if anybody actually knew what it was, and thankfully someone did help me with that.

Yes I am very bright. I know potato’s here it kind of sucks this whole Login thing I guess I’ll learn to live with it though. Who do you think the next character who they announce is gonna be. I’m guessinf Falcon but I’m hoping Roy.

I think their more likely to become Assist trophies, though it’s possible. Peach pokemon are adorable, expecially squirtle. I love me some squirtle, though Marowak is cute too.
