double jump canceling does not automatically cancel lag... u still gotta hit L.

DJC is awesome tho... definitely work it into your game

Djc only cancels your second jump. It doesn't cancel your lag by any means, unless you're peach and you sneak a float cancel in there.

I do press down after i do the aerial. I'm not sure if I even need to do that but it's just a habit to fast fall. I doubt it cancels the float though because I do it after.

I'm not sure if everyone understands so I feel I need to clarify. I meant DJC as low to the ground as possible like ness, yoshi and mewtwo players.

if you sneak a float in there and aerial in the float and fastfall, you will be subjected to the reduced lag of float cancelling (i think it amounts to 4 frames? whatever)

if you do NOT float cancel, then you still need to L-cancel your ground-level djc aerial. granted, an l-cancelled nair has i believe 8 frames of lag so an l-cancelled djc at ground is still useful
