Smash Lord
Coming offline to online, the only obvious thing to notice is input lag. It destroys you. But when you were raised with 6-8 months of nothing but wifi (like myself and Hippie), you start to notice details between Offline Luigi and Online Luigi. Here's a few I noted:
-Buffering and crawldashing tricks are harder to do and less effective online, since spacing is terrible, and combos actually exist.
-Marth is SO much easier online. They can only have space f-air spam, and you can so easily roll in before they get a d-tilt or Dancing Blade. Then you can start your "combos".
-Meta Knight is unbelievably easier online. I've played GOOD Meta Knight players online, and won. Then I play a random MK from a local tournament, and I still win, but I have to change my playstyle, even though I'm clearly better than the MK.
-Roll and sidestep spam are too good online. You won't get punished even half as often unless you're really really predictable with them.
-Luigi's aerial combos are godly when there's very little to mediocre input lag. It's pretty sad how many 0-65% combos you can get on people.
-Call me crazy, but I find that there's a certain point where G&W becomes so much easier. They lose their spaced aerials, and they begin spamming his smashes, which makes Luigi's game so much easier. If the lag is TOO bad though, you can't punish the terribly spaced aerials, and you get hit with the smashes.
-ROB is slightly easier, because they always get predictable when they try to camp, and once again, Luigi's godly aerial combos ****.
-Snake becomes harder, at least camping Snakes do. I find it's much easier to counter their spam or mortar slide offline when you can be really precise with timing.
-*This one is for Hippie* Falcon can actually compete with Luigi online, where Luigi can't just aerial his way through....everything of Falcon's. Not to mention Reverse Falcon Punches can actually land in lag.
That's all I really have right now, I'm going off the top of my head here. Anything else, please feel free to post :D :D :D
