The Differences between the levels in play in this game are almost non-seen by a person that does not know the game. It is because of the "lack" technical stuff like Wavedash, L-cancel and stuff like that.
The low competitive levels of play can be recognized in different ways. One of the ways is the Roll extreme abuse like for example: an Olimar player that is playing the game for little time or things like that regarding what character is being used. Another way to know is the " attack, attack, attack" without even caring with what kind of the move you hit the opponent. Another way to know is how they land to the stage regarding the position they land and with what attack they use to land if they use one. In short those levels of play are identified with obvious, repeated and easy to notice patterns.
The Mid competitive levels of play are recognizable in different ways. This is the level that most of us are, in this level we read spot dodges, air dodges, rolls and thing like that. This level some of us may spot dodge or those stuff at the wrong time and get punished badly by the better players and those kind of stuff. Players in this level can adapt and punish the predictable pattern of another player. In this level players know their main or some characters at a great extent. This is the average or a bit above average in the Smash community.
The High competitive levels of play are recognizable in a high extent and can be recognized even watching videos probably. In this level reaction time is really important for example a player like Ally. Technical ability plays a great role here in some characters like Ice Climbers, Diddy kong and some others. Players at this level can punish Spot dodges and those kind of stuff, punish hard the bad spaced moves and predictable patterns. In these levels is rarely seen a obvious dodge or things like that and they would dodge only if the situation is that bad. In these level players know their character at a high extent or completely know the character as a whole and all or most of the cast at a certain level and how to punish different situations against most characters in the game. In short this level requires patience, knowledge and practice in order to get at it.
I want to read the community opinions as I know that probably mine is not correct or almost correct.
