Didn't see that coming - Avoiding Shulk's Vision with gunner

So I've been dinking around with gunner to see what random things I can do with him/her, and I found that you can avoid getting caught by Vision (Shulk's down special).
To get it to work, use Fair at ground level on Shulk when he flashes. The shot should trigger Shulk's counterattack and when you land, you should slide back a little. The moment you touch the ground, roll backwards/sidestep. Depending on the distance:
  • If you're further away when the shot hits (about the length of gunner's Fsmash), you should be out of reach from the swing and slide back. This can leave him open for a charge shot if you have that special equipped.
  • If you're closer up than that, you should be able to quickly roll away from him or sidestep the counterattack and get a grab on him if you're quick enough.
The way this works is, that when someone makes direct contact by attacking Shulk while he's flashing, they slow down once he's been hit, making them a sitting duck for his counterattack. Gunner's Fair will attack him without actually making contact with him physically, which prevents you from slowing down and getting hit by the counterattack.
