I teamed up with anti from allisbrawl, or rain (w/e you want to call him.) He's a d3 player, we got 2nd/32 and outplaced mew2king and Bum! I cannot stop bragging about this. Anyway, it takes alot of momentum and you have to be very careful about plucking your bananas and utilizing them well.

Good stuff man, Anti's a beast too, played with him a bunch of times. I agree too, Diddy does fine in teams as long as you play smart. Entertaining though, and congrats on 2nd.

How'd you do in singles?

Well you're going to hit your teammate no matter what, but to avoid it as much as possible space throws well and pluck them with good spacing. Tilt pluck and smash pluck...

I got 5th, losing to atomsk but I got him down the last stock 100 percent basically each match. His d3 lives to 180 EACH STOCK!!! The other loss was a stupid one, I just played retarted and lost to keitaro's falco but then I ***** it two stocking it each time in the losers bracket later on. I got my revenge

Have you found any really practical applications for pivot dribbling? I can do it well too, I basically just use it to show off though

Yes it's a nice retreat out of a shield against marth's and game and watch if you are not facing them. A little bit of space is all you need, not a full roll. Better offensively. Added some more vids still some more to add.

I think Diddy does well on teams, but I think that the stage is a big factor to how well he does...When I use him in doubles on a small stage like Smashville, I find it too crowded to avoid getting hit, but on Battlefield and Final Destination, there is plenty of room to manuever around.

The platforms help Diddy out a lot on Battlefield. If an opponent is above you, you can Glide Toss up and then easily Fair/Utilt/Uair. On Battlefield the entire fight isn't always contained to the base of the level so it plays relatively larger because of the platforms.
