I've decided to finally get short hopping mastered, but I don't think my strategy would work well with short hopping...would he benefit from it though?

Diddy benefit from short hopping?

YES. His aerials are very good. Try short-hopping into a NAir. Also, Diddy can BAir twice with one short hop.

short hop Fair is good but make sure u hit cause it has lag if u dont. neutral airs are good cause it has no lag.Bairs too.

i have to agree with this one the most. SH to nair, and since his nair bounces them up if it connects on the last hit, you can then sh fair and the landing lag wont be as bad because they wont be able to shieldgrab you since they are in the air alsoYES. His aerials are very good. Try short-hopping into a NAir. Also, Diddy can BAir twice with one short hop.

Only do this if you KNOW you will connect. Otherwise you're just setting yourself up to be shield-grabbed, because of the landing lag. The NAir sets up nicely to combo into a FAir though.

Hmm...its nice to get some insight....I'm gonna have to rework my strategy with Diddy...But I shouldn't have trouble with his fair, I use it quite often to KO a person whose trying to recover. Anyone have a video of a SH Diddy user?
