Reading Kotaku this morning. I then see a Star Wars Rouge Squadron picture, with Factor 5 in the tilte. As I prepared for the worst, nothing could of prepared me for this.

When Factor 5 filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on May 13th of this year, they had an estimated $50,000 to $100,000 in assets, with debt estimated at between $1 and $10 million, with 69 claims for unpaid wages in excess of $900,000. The lawsuit alleges that, prior to the filing, Factor 5 and its three founders transferred company assets to a limited liability company called Blue Harvest, now White Harvest, including original intellectual property and the partially completed code for a Wii installment of the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series. As the employees' lawyer James Smith explains:

You know those comments about changing pants and new games right? Well I think I transcended that phase and started the flying out of my chair phase. Well maybe because it was related to Star Wars, maybe it was related to Rouge Squadron (the main reason why I wanted a N64 and Gamecube) maybe it was related to the Wii. But what ever the reason it just blew me away.

Also it seems that Star Wars is till strong with the Wii. We all thought it was going to be light saber battles, but in the end FREAKING ROUGE SQUADRON.

I await for the Star Wars king to return.

I'm just annoyed Free Radical went into administration before Battlefront 3 was complete. They were possibly one of the best 3rd partys of last gen, and the game looked great.

There's plenty of good online Star Wars games for PC.

but none that use the wii remote

I remember Rogue Squadron for the N64. Almost as good as Star Fox 64 :D

I don't remember knowing there was a Gamecube one.

And doesn't this mean the company is in huge debt? >_>
So will the game even come out?
