DI from Dsmash

I heard you can do it and i see people do it to me when i play them sometimes
how exactly is it done though do u just DI up or sumin :S

when DI'ing out of the dsmash, one can hold diagonally up left/right or just vertically up. a lot of people hold sideways but soon enough word will get out.

The way it is done is to tap up repeatedly, or double stick it. I know someone who can get out within 2 hits every time, and sometimes get out after just one. Holding to the side doesnt help you get out really. Just holding up can get you out sometimes.
