Most of us know that SSBB's first release date announcement said that the game would be officially released on December 3rd, the same day SSBM was released on. However, thanks to the delay, the fans have become somewhat flustered about how it's so much farther away now, the new release date being February 10th. Also, we know how there was a playable Smash Bros. Brawl demo over at the E for All event, and for those who went and got to play probably enjoyed it. Though... don't you think it's rather unfair that that was the one and only place to try out that demo, and that we can't try it anywhere else?

I think that there should be some way that we could find an SSBB demo that we can actually get our hands on, but... how so? Here are the possibilities I'm thinking of:
- Nintendo Wii's Wii Ware having a downloadable Smash Brawl demo for a small fee of maybe 500 points
- Those who subscribed to Nintendo Power would probably be able to have a demo disc arrive to them when they get their new monthly magazine on the month of Christmas
- Try buying an SSBB demo disc from a Nintendo store online

I'm not saying that this SHOULD happen, or that it WOULD, but... wouldn't it be interesting at the very least? Afterall, it's not all very fair that the first ever demo was available in only one place in the U.S. country. Everyone would've wanted to try it out, and those who did had to go through a lengthy plane trip and a costly fee to get in the event to only play 2 minutes of the demo (and to try out everything else that was available)

Also... perhaps on December 3rd -- don't forget that it's a Monday -- the ORIGINAL Super Smash Bros. for the N64 could be rereleased on the Virtual Console as a little nostalgia thing and keep us a bit satisfied for a little more? :D

Discuss and share your thoughts. (If something like this has already been posted somewhere else, then I apologize, I probably didn't read enough.)

As much as I want it to be the Demo, I bet it's going to be Super Smash Bros on the VC XD But that's going to make me really happy still :D

Yah. Sadly the demo just doesn't look like it's gonna happen. I mean. This game's gonna define the Wii just like Melee defined the gamecube. Do you think that they'd release a demo of possibly their best seller so early? People would be playing so much that some would get tired of the game before it is even finished and released. I'm sad to say that we probably won't be seeing any Brawl demos available to a wide audience until POSSIBLY a few weeks before the game's release, and still that seems farfetched. However, I think that we have a great chance of Smash Bros. 64 either coming out near the original release date time, or some time near Brawl. Take Metroid Prime 3 for instance. They had like all the originals come out that month. I think the original Smash would be perfect to fill our time before Brawl and I can't wait. =]

On top of the fact that Nintendo wouldn't even let people record matches, I asked a Nintendo Official at E For All. She said:

Unfortunately, there are no plans for the realease of a public demo for the Wii ware channel, but it's possible that you may be able to see them in local Nintendo Wii game kiosk in the near future. Sorry guys, you just have to wait.
Having the demo wouldn't be good move for Nintendo due to content on the disk that is still in development and will be different from the final product.

Saying that it isn't fair that some are allowed to play it doesn't do justice. California is a mainstream gaming hub connection between Japan. California is the closest state to Japan, and it has some of the largest convention centers. Affairs between the United States and Japanese gaming are often done through out the western pacific of the United States. It's easier for everyone.

You guys just have to wait, and so do we.
