Really? I am finding it WAY faster than brawl. This is definately NOT brawl 2.0 but it's own game entirely. In fact the ground game feels a lot closer to melee than brawl IMO. Go back and play brawl, youll notice the difference immediately
I actually played Brawl yesterday and I found the answer. Smash 4 in general is less floaty, and Brawl is like 10x's more floaty. (exaggeration, but you get the point) The Mario Dthrow combo's in Smash 4 were not possible in Brawl because they were knocked back too far for any follow up such as Utilt. I also tested the lag on Airdodging into the ground, and I was right, Smash 4 Airdodging into ground is laggier, while Brawl has zero lag. This opens opportunity for punishment and possibly decision making of whether or not you should land with Airdodge or not. I can easily find a safe landing with Pikachu's Up Special tho.
