Ok first, the reason I'm not posting this in a P64K forum is that I don't want to sign up for an account I'm not going to use. Secondly, if this isn't the right place to ask for help with this, move it to where it needs to be.

So I just got Project64 so I could play Smash Bros and GoldenEye with my brother online. But every ROM I load, it crashes after emulation start.

I would have to edit this post for my Comp specs, as I don't know them atm. But I'm running Vista, and I know my graphics cards are capable of viewing 3D, as Perfect Dark loaded somewhat well. Perfect Dark was fine until I had to save a profile, where it did not show any places to save.

But everything else crashes. I have tried GoldenEye and Smash64, both crashed at emulation started.

I have never used an emulator before and obviously I don't know how to use one :/

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Thank you. This can be deleted now. Though I still have problems with Perfect Dark. I will make another thread if I need help with it, as it should not be in this sub forum. But I dont think it works on emulators.

Download PJ64KVE, it works for vista.

One of these days somebody should put together a FAQ for troubleshooting running SSB online.
