What do you think the chances are of this game being delayed?

I mean it's smart of them to have it out around the holidays but what if they delay it to give the 3ds version some more life or sell more? Releasing it for the 3ds and then they wii u a month or two afterwards...is it really smart on their part?

I doubt that they would do that. The 3DS version will sell well enough anyway.
Despite this, I wouldn't be surprised if the game was going to be released in 2015.

I don't think there's even a remote chance this game is getting delayed until after the holidays. Nintendo has way too much riding on this game. They will do literally anything they can to make it happen.

The chances are pretty low because two big reasons; Holiday Season and Sakurai's determination; his New Year's Resolution for 2014 was to finish and release both versions before this year ends.

I'm pretty sure the release date will be announced in early October shortly after International 3ds release. And I'm sure the release date will be anywhere from late November to mid-December. It's so close to winter they can't possibly delay.

It should be in the debugging phase i don't think a delay will happen maybe 30% chance at the most. I do hope it is released in nov.

This is like my fave roster ever... sure some of my fave chars got cut but that's not gonna make me hate the game as a whole. The game is more than just the characters... and DLC is real. I seam to be the only one here who's traversed the Dee El Sea, cause no one seams to know about it.

Even if this game is delayed (Assumed release date being Nov 21), it won't be delayed past Christmas. Losing Black Friday sales would be HARSH for this game, the Wii U needs this game to do well, so I can't see it getting delayed, at least for long. Do we have any info on a JPN release date yet?

Also glad to see this thread isn't safe from "HAET TEH ROSTAR!" Really got afraid this thread would be salt free.
