I see there is a NJ Power Rating, MD/VA power rating, and a Tristate Power Rating ( NY NJ PA (?))

If Delaware doesnt fall under any of these Rating sub-division, what would be the proceedure to start up an Official Delaware State Power Rating Sub Division?

Edit: Before I piss anyone off I did read the Power rankings Sticky Above. I merely started this to get some input/feedback and recruitment of other players.

meet people from your state at tournaments, get to know them, then talk amongst yourselves, and if you decide a list is necessary, you're supposed to pm some mod with who'll be in charge of them and then create a thread and keep it updated

Unfortunately. live in one of the worse places in the U.S. to be a smasher. I've read your post in the DE's finest thread thread, and you live in Pike Creek. I go to Newark High were alot of people from Pike Creek go to, so it shouldn't be to hard to meet up. A player here called Nova, is having a smashfest and semi tournament at his house were most of the players here in Delaware are going to, including myself this saturday. You can get my phone number and stuff from off the Delaware player finder thread, or you can Pm me, Tru, Nova, or somebody else to get in touch with people.

You're a hater Pakman. Crack won't help youwith your problem of being worse than every player here in DE. Ace>PakmanX3, get over it. You only beat me cuz you cheated, by using all those advance tournament techinques like L dashing, wavecanciling, sunwalking, etc...

Big things start small man. I was at the kirkwood highway game stop and there was a good 120 people in line at midnight to get the game. I am sure there are hard core smash players in our area who want to play in a tournament! We would just have to get the word out, get support from smashboards find a location do it and set up a organized leadership. Thats not too hard.

If we got 15 players then we could set up a top 15 like other divisions have done!

As for playing you for the number one spot sounds like fun! I would just be happy to get the thing organized and be able to stay in the top 15.

I also know it cant be a one man show. If I were to pursue it I would need Delawares finest to support this idea and try to spread the word out there. after that was established we would need to find a place to hold a tournament or establish a format.

If we had Tru=,zL.tyranT, ]Foxxx17(aka ZEAL)[, Xellos(nick Nasty), TDXC(cronux), binge, myself and my fiance we would have half of the guys we would need!

even though alot of ppl had the game,so did ppl for melee and they are probably just casual players.also if we had 15 ppl that wouldnt be top 15,that would be the only 15 lol.

i already made one a long time ago and it didnt go so hot but if ppl start poping up for brawl then ill see about doing one for brawl then since ive secrtetly been working on one anyways.
plus anybody that plays will have to come to my tourneys on an average basis wich i will have going on

Well even if there were only 15 it would still be the top 15. I am sure if we left some fliers at some game stops people would check it out.

How would regular tourneys work?

What location would they be at?
(someones house or a neutual location?)
(What city? Dover? Middletown? Wilmington?)

Exo, I posted my thoughts about a power ranking of Delaware in the other thread so I'll just repost it here:

Nick Nasty said:
I think it would be better not to make a power ranking of Delaware until the state itself becomes more active. CH3 was like putting our foot into the door so I'm thinking that Chu's biweekly could be the next step we need. That's just my opinion on it though.
Basically, I think that DE needs to go to places where the good competition is and make a solid impression. When we do that, people will recognize that there are decent players in DE and we can go from there.

Part of the impression we give off is self image. It is one of the most powerful portrayals. We don't view our selves as rightful competition, therefore other don't either and therefore we are not...

Wouldn't the crew be called DE's Finest?

I wanna coach the team just like in the MLG circuit. Basically all I do is sit behind you guys, talk ****, and throw stuff. LOL!

When you put it that way it does make sense Ultima. I still feel that we should at least be more active (like throwing small tourneys between ourselves), but I realize that's easier said than done.

Yeap, being active isn't that easy. Some people would probably feel more inclined to represent the position they already hold. I'm #5 in DE son... rather than I'm a nobody from an unknown state.
