Defective/laggy Raphnet adapters

Hi folks,

Has anyone else had any experience with receiving a defective or laggy Raphnet adapter? I recently received an N64/GC adapter from Raphnet--my first N64 adapter I've used--and, despite going through KnitePhox's video multiple times, swapping out all kinds of plugins in PJ64K, I can't seem to be able to play even in single player without significant input lag. Somebody in the SSB 64 Online Facebook group told me it might be an issue with the adapter.

Has anyone here experienced anything like this? Have you returned an adapter before? Thanks.

I haven't, but when I received it I thought there was a hardware problem and sent an email to Raph and he never answered. I think Boom told me he returned one and got another one for free though.

Other than that I haven't used my adapter for too long and it's starting getting buggy: inputs completely stop being registered and adapter not recognized by windows randomly. I've never heard bad things about them though.

I use a Raphnet for my Hori. Recently, my N64-USB Raphnet stopped being recognised by my computer. Pretty sure it's dead. I feel like it may(flash) have something to do with the circuit board housing on the adapter. Seems pretty flimsy.

I've been using mine for about 2 months now with no issues whatsoever. I think boom has had problems with his though; something about not getting full stick jump
