as for the items, they are not good. Items aren't balanced, they spawn at random times, random areas, etc. They are just bad.

Smashballs have been tested and found to spawn closer and move towards the losing player, be easily broken by them and completely change characters and can in some cases take up to two stocks off their opponent. They're way to powerful for competitive play.

Greatly enjoyable though.
