this move really seems to look like Bowser's flamethrower, I wonder if it's gonna be the same in terms of damaging, but Squirtl's moves really looks awesome, and I'm guessing Ivysaur will have Solarbeam, but also am wondering, will each of them have their own Final Smash or wil they act as one to do a "Tri Final"

Now that would be interesting to see if they do a Final Smash at the same time! Tha'd be beyond sweetness!

A "Tri Final" is not going to happen.

If you couldn't tell from the original update, Sakurai is trying to make the Pokemon Trainer as much like the games as possible. (which is awesome, BTW!) Having out the three Pokemon at once would go against the games and the idea of the Pokemon Trainer.

I'm still thinking that maybe a legendary will be the final smash. Of course the "each Pokemon having their own Final Smash" theory is plausible as well.

Man.. after seeing the PKMN Trainer's update, he is now the character that i'm most looking forward to.. I agree with the ALT costume being a girl.. someone earlier said what they could do for other alt costumes.. How about if they had the character designs from each of the generations? That'd be way cool..

My ideas for final smashes..
I think that each PKMN should have his/her own Final Smash.. maybe.....

Squirtle-Hydro Pump, Surf, (Icebeam, blizzard?)
Ivysaur- Solar Beam, Solar Canon, Razorleaf
Charizard- Heat Wave, Fire Blast, Fly, Sky Attack, Seismic Toss

If you obtain a smash orb, It will only affect the pokemon that obtained it.. if you try to switch out, the orb's effects will be canceled

Most of this thread is just speculation(like saying you'll be temporarily invincible when changing Pokemon), and there's already a Pokemon Trainer topic.

the topic is about an in depth look at the character. That means either looking at the character, what the possibilities is for that said character and what it means for brawl. If you don't like this thread then you don't have to post comments. Find another Pokemon Trainer thread and post there.

And the same goes with Yukiwarashi, though i believe his only complaint is that this tread may be pulling people away from his own. Please understand that I'm not trying to steal your thunder Yukiwarashi, I read your thread and it had nothing in common with my own. If I've said something someone else has, sue me. I don't read every freakin post for every blog

Dude, I'm not hear to argue about stupid matters like this. My thread is about Red, what the character has shown, what the character might bring and what this might bring to brawl.
That the point if you don't like then please leave. I'm not here to here to argue with whining board members because I'm not tickling their fancy.

from what Red topics I read so far All I heard was them asking why his name is PT, talking about how they wanted to play them and what kind of fantasy moveset they we're expecting. If this is spam then report me and stop whining. It's as simple as that, whining won't accomplish a thing because I don't believe I am doing anything wrong.

Forgive me for intruding, but I would have to agree with other people regarding the topic.

It is obvious you have put alot of effort into it, but none of this speculation is new, or is something that warrants it's own thread. It is quite ignorant to ignore another thread that is heavily used as well, just to post, well, what can be deduced as obvious speculation.

Anyway, on topic.
If this thread survives, I suggest more speculation on how the characters contrast with each other and how you think they will complement each other. Your thoughts on combo-ability etc.

This thread might have been good, if there was anything new, or unnoticed previously, but as it stands, it is all quite obvious.

Although I give you credit for the effort put into it.

EDIT: I'm aware that you will continue to update the thread, so maybe I was too early to judge. Either way, just my opinion, as always ^_^

Since this topic is back from the dead for the moment and since everyone else gone over other stuff, I'll like to go over one of the points brought up.

So what does this mean? The chances for some old stages coming back has been lowered.

* means possible if the stage is slightly widened or if PT is desynched from his pokes

How does a single character in anyway effect a stage coming back? No seriously, how does this mean anything? Time for satire to take over...

Random Developer: Mr. Sakurai sir, we ran into a problem during the development of a moving stage. How would Pokémon Trainer keep up in the background?

RD #2: Yeah sir, this one character who hangs out in the background and has no effect on game play could seriously mess up these stages. What are we to do about currently existing stages like Rumble Falls?

RD #3: Why not just drop the whole stage in favor of this three-in-one character?
