Dashing Autocancel Dair

I'm having difficulty with Falcon's Autocancelled Dair (Tap Jump turned off)

Any way to make it easier to execute?
And while we're on the subject of Falcon... any tips on how to play him well? I main Ike and Snake, while alt-ing PT, and the three play very differently from Falcon.

If you're doing it out of a dash and you're using GC controls, tap C-stick down at the same time you press jump.

If you want full momentum, it should be
(Left thumb holding towards direction), (Index/middle/ring finger hits X/Y)+ (Right thumb flicks down on C-stick)

press X and A at the same time, while holding the control stick down.

i play falcon in an strategic way, basically mindgames mindgames mindgames, stab at their defenses and think 3 or more moves ahead.

i just slide my thumb across the Y and the A, just a quick slide and you'll auto cancel every single time.
