Daroach for Brawl!

Even though I've created several movesets, this is the first time I've started a Character Submission Thread. Being a fan of Kirby (and his new game, Kirby Squeak Squad), I've decided to bring up the topic of the chivalrous thief, Daroach!

In Kirby Squeak Squad, Daroach is the leader of a gang of treasure thieves known as the Squeaks. Near the beginning of the game, Daroach steals Kirby's shortcake thinking it to be an ultimate treasure. After hunting down his first subject, King Dedede, Kirby realizes that Daroach stole his cake, and Kirby gives chase after the Squeaks throughout several worlds. Daroach actually also steals the real "ultimate treasure" as well, but it ends up being stolen by Meta-Knight. Daroach retrieves the treasure chest and opens it, only to find the sinister Dark Nebula, who transforms the Squeaks' leader into Dark Daroach. After Kirby defeats Dark Daroach and vanquishes Dark Nebula, Daroach returns Kirby's cake and apologizes for the trouble.

STATS

Size: 3/5 = He's about Mario's height.
Weight: 2/5 = Not as light as Kirby or Jigglypuff, but pretty light.
Power: 3/5 = Pretty average with his punches and such.
Speed: 4/5 = Not as fast as Fox, but pretty fast nonetheless.
Jump: 4/5 = As mobile as Daroach is, he's bound to be a great jumper.

B-SPECIALS

• B: Tristar Rod: Pulls out the Tristar Rod and fires three stars; one straightforward, one diagonally upward, and one diagonally downward.
• B + Up: Teleport: Suddenly disappears in a blur, then reappears in direction in which the Control Stick is pointed (like Mewtwo's Teleport).
• B + Down: Bomb: Pulls out a black bomb (like Link would). Has an infrequent chance of pulling out a super-powered red bomb.
• B + Right: Swipe Dash: Lunges forward, like a slower version of Fox's Fox illusion, with his claw stretched forward. Delivers a scratch attack to the target. If the target is holding an item, Daroach steals it to use as his own. Cannot swipe items in mid-throw, as well as heavy items like Crates or Barrels.

• Super: Squeak Squad: Summons his fellow Squeaks, Doc, Storo, and Spinni, whom act independently. Spinni jumps around the stage throwing shurikens at opponents, Doc flies around in his saucer dropping bombs on opponents, and Storo beats up any opponents close to him.

EXTRA STUFF

• Entrance: Appears on the stage as if he had Teleported in.
• Taunt: Smirks and readjusts his hat.
• Kirby Hat: Kirby adorns Daroach's hat and ears.

SOME IDEAS FOR ALTERNATE COSTUMES

NOTE: Before creating this thread, I searched the forums for a thread requesting Daroach for Brawl. Since I found none, I created this one. Nevertheless, if one that I overlooked has already been created, then please lock this.

I was contemplating that as well, but I figured that it'd just be entirely too cheap of an attack.

I mean, I'm not averse to beams, but a beam that freezes? It'd just make Daroach a broken character.

I USED THIS MOVE IN MY MEOWTH MOVESET! LONG BEFORE YOO!!!

It was called THIEF, it's a move in Pokémon and it works better as a Pokémon attack because it just DOES!

For the record, I didn't know this. Besides, who cares? It's not as if characters don't have similar moves.

How about you make an attack for him where he summons Doc, Spin, Stron or the Squeakers to attack?

I was relunctant at first, but when i read the thread, it changed my mind, he would tottaly fit in brawl. I think his jump should be 5/5 though

One thing is troubling---Daroach NEVER walks. He floats.

One of his alternate costumes should be dark daroach.

Maybe the ice beam could be made into a super move of some kind... I'd like to see dark daroach as an alternate costume. That was a great boss battle... I need that music in brawl!

How would daroach jump? Doesn't he fly the whole time in squeak squad? I don't know if they could make him the same as how he was in squeak squad... a character that can fly around freely would be so broken. Maybe he should just have a high jump, and be very maneuverable in the air, like puff.

He does float. That's his only means of transport. But if he's put into Brawl, they'll make him walk.

You know, it's funny; today I was just picturing how Daroach would look in Brawl. It's be sweet!

I would really REALLY like Daroach in Brawl but hes chances are slim considering from the Kirby series we have Kirby and Metaknight and most likely getting King Dedede, so... another villain? Kirby mustn't be to good at making friends.

Another character that I suddenly appreciate and want to appear in Brawl >.>
The only problem with this character is that Sakurai has been a little too modest with his own creations, in the past. Hopefully he'll include King Dedede =X

Anyways, Daroach is an awesome suggestion.

I played every Kirby Games, and that boss was one of the best I beat, I also hope Daroach is in Brawl
