Danganronpa S (and Future Spin-offs) Discussion Thread

Announced at Nintendo's E3 2021 digital event, Danganronpa Decadence is releasing this December 3rd! This will include remasters of the three mainline visual novels as well as a brand new title based on V3's post-game (which itself was based on Spike Chunsoft's Mystery Dungeon series), Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp.

Taking pace in a largely-peaceful AU, Summer Camp will provide us with a whole lot of fanservice as we can see the characters relax and have fun in over 1,000 events. It also, unlike V3's post-game, will feature family members of the Ultimates and members of the Elementary School program joining in on the festivities as well! And with 60 characters confirmed and only 57 known, it seems like they have a few more surprises up their sleeves to still be announced...

But that's not all! Spike Chunsoft has also confirmed that Danganronpa will be receiving more spin-offs in the future, teasing games in a "variety of genres."

So, all in all, what are people's hopes for Danganronpa S? Who would you like to see make it into the game and who would you like to see interact with each other? And what do you hope for the future of the spin-offs in general? This thread is for discussion of all of that and more!

I suppose that'd be a logical choice if they wanted to stick with Visual Novels, though I think Danganronpa probably wants to keep its intentionally-vague ships for the most part. If nothing is canon, then everything can be canon complaint and fanworks can go wild.
