D3 CG Help.

I don't really get how to shield grab, I'm using X as my grab button on a GC controller.

press R. then press A. Its a super advanced technique.

For the CG, you dthrow, then right when DDD's feet go flat on the ground, dash. Then cancel the dash with R, and hit A. The difficult part is just getting the muscle memory of the timing down.

When do I know when to stop my dash with my shield?

lol i have this problem too. just don't press shield too early

just go into training, 1/4 speed, comp on jump. figure it out. then go normal speed and get down the muscle memory. helps if you can get a friend to be your dummy, so he can DI and spam dodge.

As soon as you initiate the dash hold shield and as soon as the shield appears press A. Not hard at all. The only problem is you're probably going to dash grab by accident if you don't wait until you see the shield.
