You try to catch one but you can't seem to see any of these creatures. Though you can clearly hear them.
Dude Niiro he specifically said that the ones we need to care about / we can recognize are the five he already explained.
Listen for the scrambling creatures. What do they sound like? Beetles?! Ewww!

Niiro brings his face close to the keyboard etched into the wall. It begins to glow and stumbles backwards in shock. He quickly goes back and brings his hand back near the wall. As he does so keys begin to glow. He moves his hand hovering it over the different keys on they keyboard. As he does so they glow. As soon as he moves his hand away, they dim.
Tom listens for the creatures. They do sound like some sort of insect. However her attention shifts. Upon seeing the light up show Niiro was making, the little girl excitedly goes to touch one of the images. As her hand gets close to it, it begins to glow. Someone quickly pulls her hand back. "Don't touch them! You don't know what will happen."

I want to see how those look like, not the ones next to the keyboard. I don't really have to understand them, just say it looks like a dogman or some ****
They don't look like anything you would understand.
So the bugs glow?

Niiro does so. It looks like the layout of a regular keyboard etched into the stone wall. However the keys glow when you put your hand next to one. Same with the 5 images.
The insect things are probably scarabs since this is so Egyptian-themed.

Also with the way it goes left right right blank blank blank blank, I think Up and Down may be possible answers as well.
I examine the shape of the star. What does it look like? How many points does it have, if any, or is it round? Egyptians and other ancients loved their stars so this could also be a clue.

Ok. So our input has to do with the five images. Do we input what "general direction they are in? I dunno. Someone help me here.
I think up down, inside, and out are all pretty viable.
ALso, which way is the wind spiral rotating?
"Yeah, I like the star too, Mister!" I say to tmw_redcell before running up and touching it.
The star has 5 points. The wind is rotating clockwise. Chad sees doesn't see anything that wasn't already said.

Ok, how do direction inputs (DI LOL) have to do with these elements? I'd assume they have to with left right right as our starting point.
Or we could lose players by attempting answers. We aren't even given switches that are half tempting to pull.

Also, since the bugs glow, and the clues glow...maybe if we pick one up and put it near it, it'll react?
We can't catch the bugs, i think. I'm not sure they actually glow, either.

Bugs do not glow. You can't see whatever is making the noise.

I dunno. There's 7 answer spots and only five things presented to us.
I try to listen to see if it sounds like the bugs are all travelling in one direction or something (like, running along the walls around us clockwise or counter clockwise with the keyboard thing as being 12 o'clock)
This takes care of a few of them, but see eyes (i assume this goes with sight) or heart.
So is that what we want to do? Just keep touching things until we get some sort of response? This seems a bit... I don't know, way too head on.

Ok thats sort of cool and all Niiro, but how do we apply it? it doesn't have anything to do with like a direction.
I think Niiro was just making a joke based on how yu-gi-oh is also egyptian themed. But if there's some more yu-gi-oh imagery or words used then we should jump on it.
You can't really tell what direction they are going in. It a somewhat chaotic scrambling sound.
I dunno **** about Yu-Gi-Oh. Can we PLEASE majority force KK to do something, he hasnt posted like at all, or done anything.
