Okay, downright getting rid of the NORMAL awards is just stupid. I see the appeal in adding fun awards, but drop the core awards and this just becomes some huge (inside) joke-fest that people will care even less about.

You're wrong. It's not originally anime. With your logic, anything can be considered anime despite wherever it came from, as long as it is included in an anime somewhere. A Mario avatar counts as an anime avatar guys!

if people are too lazy to fill out awards, then we may as well just make every award an overly specific obscure inside joke that only applies to one person so there is no need to even hold a vote since the recipients are already inherently selected

SK: since pokemon has always been drawn by japanese, that is his anime form. who knows what his cartoon form looks like? his videogame form would be all pixely and stuff so we can rule that out.

semp: a compormise is needed which is what i tried to do. i kept what i believe were the core awards and put in some funny awards too. if you believe there should be some sort of ratio i am all for that. i could add in more serious awards, take out joke awards, or a bit of both. if you have any suggestions of what should be in/out i am happy to follow along that request.
