Hey! We gotta be honest.. we figured Smash was going to be out in the cold until December when Brawl rolls around. But, after the steady provoking by some local players in the smash community, we took the plunge and held our first Smash tournament in nearly six months in August. It went so well that we decided to do it up for a final time before Brawl, this time in early October. See everyone there!

Schedule:
10am - Open Play Begins
12pm - Doubles Tournament Start
3pm - Singles Tournament Start
9pm - Challenges, open play, crew battles, and whatever else until we close!

(All times are approximate, and will change based on participation)

Registration:
To come play for the day is only $5 which goes to the house to cover costs. This $5 cost will give you entry to any of the leisure and "for fun" tournaments where we will have prizes and swag to give away. Additionally, there will be a $15 registration for each player who wishes to compete in a cash singles bracket, and $20 per team for any two player group looking to compete in a cash doubles bracket. The full amount of the cash event registration fees will go back to the players as prizes. Players may register online or in person the day of the event, and registration for the cash events will take place at the time of entry.

** All players must bring their own controller as CyberJocks will not be supplying any. Players are welcome and encouraged to bring their own Gamecube or Wii, Memory Card, and if all possible, a Television set (especially those players who are going to stay the entire day and night). ***

Singles Cash Event - $15 / Player
- The full collected entry fees for this event will go back to the top three placers in the tournament. The split of the purse will be 60/30/10 percentages. The overall prizes will obviously depend on the number of players that decide to enter and participate in the tournament. This will be a double elimination bracket unless decided otherwise by the tournament administrators on the day of.

Doubles Cash Event - $20 / Team
- The full collected entry fees for this event will go back to the top three placers in the tournament. The split of the purse will be 60/30/10 percentages. The overall prizes will obviously depend on the number of players that decide to enter and participate in the tournament. This will be a double elimination bracket unless decided otherwise by the tournament administrators on the day of.

For Fun Tournaments – FREE Entry
- The “For Fun” tournaments will be held at different points throughout the day, and entry is included in the $5 daily registration fee that was paid upon arival. Prizes will include CyberJocks game time, free entry to future Smash events, and café items. Other items will include swag like T-shirts, and collectables.

General Rules
All players must bring their own controllers. No modded controllers, or special features such as turbo or macro buttons may be used. If a player is found using a special feature button, they will be disqualified from the tournament.

All competitive brackets will be double elimination unless they are simply too large for it to fit in the allotted time. If they are too large, we will attempt to do a double elimination for the final 16 or 32 spots.

In the case of a GameCube/TV malfunction, the current round will be restarted, no matter the current outcome. However, if a player intentionally causes a malfunction, then that player will be awarded a loss for that round.

Anyone found using cheats, or other documented exploits will be disqualified and awarded a loss for that match.

All players are expected to obey the general CyberJocks rules of conduct posted on this website, and around the facility! We only want players with great attitudes that want to some good clean competitive fun!
