So from seeing the E3 announcement, we see that all the characters will be getting 2 variations to their special moves, modifying them, and heres a picture to help understand if you don't already

So they'll be having 2 variations to all four of their special moves having a total of "12" special variations. The Miis and Palutena are exempt from this, having completely different moves rather than variations.

So now we have this thread where you can create either variations or completely different moves for the veterans, newcomers, or even predictions or fan characters that you want. You can be as blunt or as descriptive as you want. I was gonna put my own for Mario just now but I completely lost it >_> Hope this thread will do okay

ALSO! If you want to give the character another 2 Final Smashes, be free to do so!

For Samus:

Neutral:
Ice Beam: Can freeze foes and does higher knockback, but not nearly as much damage.
Wave Beam: Does electricity damage, but does much less damage and knockback. However, it can pass through solid objects and walls.
Up:
Gravity Boost: Samus uses her jet pack to travel much faster ad higher, but deals no damage.
Don't have a second idea...
Side:
Imperialist: Shoots a laser, similar to R.O.B.'s. However, the lag is terrible.
Seeker Missile: Shoots three missiles, but they're less powerful.
Down:
Charge Bomb: Flings lots of bombs in all directions. However, they're even less powerful than normal.
Boost Ball: Can be charged, and causes Samus, while morphed, to boost forward a distance determined by charge.

For Luigi:

FireBall:

Fire Mine: +10 second Life Span, -0 Movement. Now it is a mine that floats in the air and can hurt enemies.

Thunder Hand: +Deals High Electric Damage (14%), -0 Range. Luigi uses his Thunder Hand from the M&L games. It is a melee attack instead of a ranged one.

Green Missile:

Roulette Missile: +Misfire has a 30% chance instead of 12%, -Deals No Damage Otherwise.

Reload Missile: +Green Missile can be canceled and saved. -Never Misfires.

Super Jump Punch:

Super Flutter Jump: +Luigi jumps and then floats via kicking his feet. -Deals No Damage.

Super Charge Punch: +Can be Charged for Increased Power and Reach. -Starts at -70% Range and at Max is 120% of what Super Jump Punch's range is.

Luigi Cyclone:

Luigi Tornado: Luigi can float higher and easier, however your horizontal speed is limited.

Luigi Hurricane: Luigi travels horizontally quicker, but you can not float.

Neutral Specials:
Power Pluck- Slowly pull out a pikmin with great difficulty. Gain a few invincibility frames, and damage anyone standing to close with the rocks and dirt being flung around.
Flower Pluck- Very quickly pull out pikmin, these pikmin have flowers on their heads automatically, but have half the health and wilt after a while if not killed.
Side Specials:
Swap toss- Hold pikmin while they make their little "nnnng" sound. Release to throw as normal, press R to cycle through which pikmin type you throw. (From pikmin 2 and 3)
Pikmin Smack- Replace the usual toss with a very powerful short range melee attack. Pikmin dies upon use of this move.
Up Specials:
Brave Sacrifice- Automatically dismiss all pikmin on you instantly upon using the move (for maximum height without having to waste time tossing them)
Classic Chain- Olimars old recovery, the winged pikmin usually used in Up specials appear to help, making it a maximum of six for the chain like in brawl. (from brawl)
Down Specials:
Dismiss- Dismiss all pikmin, causing them to go a bit pale and have a light on their leaf. In this state they wonder around aimlessly, attacking people and using items of their own free will. (from all pikmin games)
Charge!- All pikmin will run in the direction olimar is facing, running until they find an enemy, run off the edge, or are called back with a second down special use from olimar. (from pikmin 3)

Final Smashes!
Titan Dweevil- Olimar whistles, and the titan dweevil (final boss from pikmin 2) comes crashing down, louie riding on top. The dweevil behaves as in game, stomping around and shooting its four elemantal cannons all around. After about 15 seconds it ends and the dweevil sorta disintegrates.
Pikmin Army- The multi onion will crash into the stage, then exactly 100 pikmin of all types will swarm out of it. They run around hitting stuff and go absolutely crazy, then after about 10 seconds olimar whistles and they all return to the onion and it flies away.

So we know for a fact that every character has a nice little pool of moves to pick from for customization purposes. Simple. What we do not know for facts are what exactly these will be. What we do know is what we might want them to be. So I ask you, fellow smashers: what do you want some of these moves to be? What will Peach do instead of pull turnips? Will Yoshi actually have a recovery move?? And for the love of Sakurai, what will become of the Falcon Punch???

Link:
Neutral Special #1: Fire Arrows -- Increased damage, but reduced range.
Neutral Special #2: Ice Arrows -- Reduced draw speed, but freezes enemies (like being hit by a Freezie).

Side Special #1: Standard Boomerang -- No gust effects, but increased speed and damage.
Side Special #2: Magic Boomerang -- No gust effects, but can be held out spinning at max distance while running around as long as special button is held down.

Up Special #1: Tornado Spin -- Wind effects will rise Link much higher in the air, but with reduced damage.
Up Special #2: Quick Spin -- Link will double the number of revolutions in his spin, so it hits more times, but with heavily reduced knockback.

Down Special #1: Bombchu -- Link pulls out a Bombchu instead of a standard bomb.
Down Special #2: Giant Bomb -- Link pulls out a very large bomb that cannot be thrown as far, but explodes with a greater area and more damage.

Oh i didn't notice that Xl ah well they're merged now, so tis all good! :D

I might as well contribute while I'm here

Toon Link:
Neutral Special 2: Ice Arrows- pretty much that other guy's description of ice arrows
Neutral Special 3: All-Purpose Bait- Toon Link drops a few pellets of those red berries onto the ground, after which seagulls ravenously attack and eat it, doing quick light damage to whomever they hit. This can be used in air to make a falling bird trap
~
Side Special 2: Sand Wand- raises a damaging column of sand. This can be charged. Aerially it causes a ball of sand to swipe downward, effectively making a meteor smash
Side Special 3: Skull Hammer- a chargeable slam of the skull hammer, not much else to explain. Go blunt force!
~
Down Special 2: Cane Of Pacci- fires a beam of energy that flips opponents around in the air
Down Special 3: Enemy Weapon- Toon Link pulls out one of the various enemy weapons from Wind Waker. These can be thrown and swung. Rarely he will pull out a toona fish from Phantom Hourglass, which can only be thrown
~
Up Special 2: Deku Fall- A less heightening version of the spin slash that ends with pulling out the Deku Leaf, allowing slower descent and more horizontal control
Up Special 3: Rito Assistance- Either Prince Komali or Medli will come and fly Toon Link upward. This deals no damage but boasts impressive height
