Well since excite truck we all know it possible.

What whould you think off Custom SoundTracks in brawl?

EDIT:Ok, some people are confused how it whould work so here is an explanation:

SD Cards Which are the memory standered for the wii, can be attached to a computer, using a camera, photo printer, etc,or a simple adapter (5$).

When its attached it whould show up in the list when you click my computer. All you whould have to do is then drag songs onto the SD Card, then put it into your wii, and custom soundtracks!

I love the idea. It sometimes gets anoying listening to the same old music. Atlest with this, you could change and listen to your own songs. But how would you then put the music into the gamecube/memory card?

lol, like any music can compare to video game music.

The GCN memory card won't be used at all. You just put the music on the memory card using a port on your computer or with an adaptor and the Wii detects it when you put it in the system.

If Brawl gets custom soundtracks, I probably wont use it but I'll appreciate the fact the developers put that option in. What could we possibly listen to playing Brawl?

Ah, ok.

I understand now. But I still think it would be cool.

Wii doesn't have enough space for songs, neither do many memory cards, if Wii had a 5GB hard drive maybe we could get like 60 songs and space left over for other things. They would have to release a 2-5GB memory card/ Hard drive for that.

I recently posted this idea on another forum, and I'm all for it. To take my personal MP3s and use an SD card to put them on stages in Brawl is a great idea.

How about Smash Mouth "All-Star"? That sounds fitting. Or, if someone is losing badly, you could play "Eye of the Tiger" for them. What do you think about that?

there was custom music in Exite Truck? w00t!

if it's possible, I think it would be a good idea to add this feature. personaly, I probably wouldn't use it. if I did I would only use it to put in Nintendo music that they didn't include already (which, as of now, theres only one song I'm hoping they include)

They already have 1 GB cards. Surely 5 would be possible soon? Besides, people want to take more and better photos anyway, so the production of SD cards wouldn't completely be around the Wii.

It would be nifty, but doubt there is much call for it among smash's target audience. Therefore, it probably won't be in. Sorry.

They have to. It just has to be. If they did it would be so much easier than me lugging my portable stereo downstairs and making a CD just to play smash.

Yes Please, I have a whole lot of epic style stuff that would be great for Smash. This option should be on all games, it's not like itsa all that hard to implement, and the only game I really like the soundtrack for is Adance Wars, but even that gets a little old.

Glad to see so many people like the idea! And yes the songs whould come off the SD cards, just like how excite truck does. Oh yeah and it`d be cool if you could pick your song before the match and they dont go in a random order.

I am for it. I am expecting the music to be spectacular on Brawl anyway, but it would be nice to listen to my own songs for a change.

First off, why do you need more than 1 gig to make this possible? Well over enough music to easily replace the entire soundtrack would take up a lot less than a gig, and game saves are tiny.

Either way, it would be a cool idea if they could implement it well.

You need more space because Wii was never meant to be an entertainment center, it was meant to be a gaming console, nothing more. That's why Wii can't play DVDs or stream music from the internet or anything Xbox 360 or PS3 does. They have plenty of room to store that stuff, we don't.

I do that too but then I get the problem whereI can't hear one or the other, I normally end up turning off the music if I'm playing through for the first time.

If this feature doesn't make it in, I'll be furious. In all honesty, I value the feature of custom soundtracks just as highly as the (hopeful) inclusion of wavedashing.

I don't know about everyone else, but after 900 hours of Smash, I kind of got tired of hearing the BGM for FD and Dreamland 64. Not to say that the music's bad, but it got kind of repetitive. I'd love to be able to put on some GGXX tracks, or some classic rock songs.

Ending your game.
Yes...I can see it, a showdown with your rival on the new Final Destination, and "Duel of the Fates" as the BGM, intensifying the match in one epic explosion.

In contrast, I can also see this option being abused with less-than-preferable songs... :chuckle:

I have alot of songs that would fit perfectly inside alot of my matches, I hope this feature is included! Heck, it may even throw them off their game! ^_^
