Custom music fading out during play

While playing a few VS. matches on Final Destination, the custom music I had added dropped in volume significantly about 3-4 minutes in at a consistant rate. Pausing and unpausing solved the problem, but I thought it would be worth mentioning since it happened so many times for me.

That sounds like the Audio Fade we have. If you don't press anything for 3 minutes, the audio will drop significantly in volume until you press a button or move the joystick.

The audio fade probably kicked in. Were you actively playing the game when it fades, or were you idling? If you were playing the game actively, what controllers were you using (wiimotes, nunchucks, classic controllers, or gamecube controllers)?

I was doing stock matches with some CPUs, and I guess when I got knocked out was when the music faded. So it probably was just me not touching the controller.
