Smash Legend
I don't exactly expect this, but I think this is something that would fit in line very well with the ideas behind both the 3DS and Wii U version. The whole "personal experience" thing on the 3DS and the sharing thing on the Wii U. Something that says "that's me!" to yourself, and to anyone seeing your replays. Really, this is something any online fighting game should have. I think only a couple have had it, though.
It sounds trivial at first, but who doesn't have some connection with their character and a particular color palette? I know I'm always yellow Yoshi or pink ROB. To create your own palette for a color would create an even more personal connection with your character. For an online community, it's helpful to have a little something that makes you stand out like that.
I doubt it would get too detailed if implemented. Maybe only have a few "parts" of a character to change and a limited selection of colors, but even that would probably get the job done. After you select a character, it'd probably have its own little box to click like the name function. Come to think of it, maybe you could even attach some to a name. WHAT I'M GETTING AT THOUGH is that as far as feasibility goes, it shouldn't be a problem.
ANYWAY THAT'S ALL PRETTY BORING. How about we list what custom colors we'd use for our characters, new or old, likely or not.
I call pink Ridley with yellow wings. Just to throw in a third color... I guess... blue eyes works well enough.
