Current Options For Online Play (Wii Console)

I only noticed that Wii was shutting down their official servers after I already bought my copy of SSBB! I imagine there would be quite an uproar on these forums if people really were kept from playing online by this. Can someone please tell me some of the options available for Wii users to be able to play this online? If possible I would really like to not have to play on an emulator. Thanks!

I've not tested this but there's a thread here talking about setting up PM to use the third party servers. Why don't you want to play on emulator though? Much less input lag compared to wifi.

I just went through a bit of hassle to get a Wii, plus my laptop couldn't handle a ps2 emulator very well so I can't imagine it'd run a Wii one great. If you think otherwise though and it is in fact much easier I may have to look into that... Do you know of a thread that would help me with that?

Uhh if you list your specs I'll tell you if it will be playable. From your previous statement though probably not but I'll let you know. The thread in my siggy is a guide on how to set it up. It really doesn't take long despite all the text. The process category is how you set it up which is like 5 steps.
