Culdcept, Trace Memory, and other random 3rd Parties in Ultimate?

I've noticed there's been a lot of content for non 1st party Nintendo games (like Culdcept and Trace Memory) that don't seem to fall under any of the other affiliated 3rd party companies. Were these IP's really acquired for the game just to be made spirits and music?

I guess so, but why aren't they in any of the credits either?
