CT scene? Where?

I'm a bit new to the boards, but not to the community, and I can't find any real places to go for tourneys outside of ones hosted by my school. I'm sure other people in Connecticut are also looking for local places that don't require a several hour trek to NYC, and I'm mid-state CT (Hartford, West Hartford area). Where should I look?

Well first off, you should check out the https://www.facebook.com/groups/338221943012852/ CT Melee facebook (if you play Melee of course) page, they have all the events on there. There's also a CT Smash Bros page that has events for all the games. I'd highly recommend the Hall of Gaming biweeklies in Wallingford. The dudes who run it are great and everyone there is super friendly. They hold Melee, Sm4sh and PM events there.

Peace. There's a place called The Grid in Manchester, CT that has PM every Thursday and Melee every other Tuesday starting at 7:30 both days. Some of the best in the state attend and is a good training ground. What school do you go to that throws tournaments?

Melee in particular.
but I'm always down for Project M or sme Sm4sh, although I wouldn't be a challenge there lol
