CSP problems

I am trying to make portraits for my skins in my Brawl+ at the character select screen. Right now im using the CSP Tool's found in this link
http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=228958

For all the pcs./pac. files I download that have a CSP already packaged with it, the CSP Tool's accepts the pictures no problem. Well I was using the Gimp program in the link to make some of my own for the skins that didnt have the CSP files with them. I followed the directions of 128x160 size TGA files at 72 color setting with the 255 red, 255 blue to equal "perfect magenta" back grounds. When I load the files all named accordingly the CSP Tool says that the ones I made have no palette and skips those. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can fix this problem.

You could've just asked in that very thread, ya know >_>

I, myself, have had similar problems. Do you have an Alpha Channel within the image?

i dont think so. i figured out a method any way, which involved taking a working CSP and just coloring over the current picture with the megenta then pasteing my picture.
lol that's what I do now xD

By the way, if you have any _small TGAs you're doing, be sure to index it at 20 colors.

Go to Layer > Transparency > Add Alpha Channel

Alternatively, you can go into the Layers Window (if you have it open), right-click on any layer, and click Add Alpha Channel :)

Not really, but the "step2_create" BATCH file is picky as hell about this stuff.

72-color-indexed TGA with a 255/0/255 (R/G/B) background, be it within the same layer as the image itself, or on a separate layer behind the image. It must also have an Alpha Channel.
