From the Midwest. id like to hear some feedback on what i could do better on approach and everything against Metaknight.. especially this one

First, I'm just curious, what kind of controls do you use?

As for the critique, only halfway through the first video, I kind of see that you vs. Domo is a game of punishment. Whoever makes a mistake gets dsmashed / shuttle looped / ftilted / utilted, etc. Although I don't know tons about the MK vs. Snake MU, I can tell you that you need to be very wary of such mistakes. For the most part, you did a pretty good job with punishing his (at least in match 1, I'm gonna watch the rest), but you did make some stupid mistakes yourself, and they usually lead to 12 percent from your own nade + whatever MK hits you with, or your own death.

That's how MK vs. Snake is, MK has the tools to punish / null a lot of things that Snake does, while Snake kind of has to claw back from the depths because of his slow speed, bad aerials, and bad aerial moblity.

Prime example of what I'm talking about is from the start of your last stock to the end of match 1. You made Domo looks stupid because of all the spacing errors and bad techs on his part, plus some nice perfect shielding on your part. You were down a fair amount, and in the course of 45 seconds, you came back to win. I counted 7 on the last stock.

Match 3 is an example of the exact opposite. You just got manhandled there. Mistakes, spotdodges, and punishes everywhere.

Match 4 is the same story as 3, but you were starting to feel him out again. You do get some pretty good reads and punishes, but again, too many errors coupled by some good play from Domo caused you to lose that one.

5th match, I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, except that you came out the winner in that one.

A few spotdodging habits, you got yourself with your own explosives a few times throughout, got yourself in a few dangerous situations which Domo happened to mess up on, but otherwise you got all your **** down.

I'll wait for a better / smarter Snake to critique you, but I hope I helped a bit.

first of well, well ****ing played. Your snake is so weird and effective, I love it! But what I'm confused about is your stage choice...BF is easily the worst neutral you can go to vs. mk, and YI the 2nd worst :/ I know you won that first and 2nd round, but why did go there? its much easier on FD/PS1/SV.

Also, when you finally got to CP you went to yoshi's....???????? why? You had alot of much better options when it came to your cp here.

Not sure about pictochat cuz its not usually legal at most tourneys I go to but it seems like it worked.

As to your style, I really like how well you use snakes moveset! You're so fast paced and have such a sleek style to your snake. You're great at limiting options and forcing them into your traps. But tbh you were a little TOO reckless and aggro at times and the risk wasn't worth the reward. Chill out a bit, and learn to watch your nades more is all I can say. Keep it up ratman!
