Well, I watched your matches. Your Sheik is quite impressive. One habit I noticed during the first Sheik match was that when you SHFFL'd one nair, you tended to follow up with another (and another). You might want to mix it up a bit, cuz he caught on to this at 9:41 and grabbed you for a combo.

Now, I'm a little confused as to how Hax was able to CP you to BF after he'd already won there against your Marth. Doesn't DSR say you can't choose the stage you've already won on? Anyway, during your second Sheik match, I saw that your first death ultimately resulted from you airdodging backwards (probably an attempted WD) very unsafely at 10:30. However, while recovering the second time he hit you offstage (on the right side), around 10:35, I think you should have tried to hit him w/ some aerial, preferably fair, to keep him from edgehogging or gimping you. That way, the ledge would have been open. I noticed you trying to punish Falcon's nair a few times. I'm not sure, but I think that move is fairly safe, even when it hits your shield, as long as he spaces it correctly.

Yeah the nair thing.....thatd my teams shiek stuff kicking in. my sheik was originally a teams sheik and im just startin to play him in singles. thanks for pointing that out. also thanks for pointing out my recovery flaws. ive got a bit to work on with her. hopefully i have some good feedback about the first part of that set.

you can try using utilt instead to continue shield pressure. It will also catch a falcon if he tries to stomp out of shield.

you have really good movement. you could of recovered a lot better 2nd game. you want to stay grounded for the most part vs falcon. mainly ftilt his approaches i saw you use alot of short hop nairs which works too, but give falcon a chance to get under you.

Don't we have a Sheik video thread? If we don't, we should make one. I think a huge number of individual "Critique my Sheik, please" threads has been really cluttering up this board.

There really isn't a need IMO, like most of the activity is in the sheik qna so I don't mind each person having their own video crit thread.

If it blows up the board then sure tho lol.

Swift it's nice to see you decided to play sheik =3

tim, in the nicest way i can say this, play sheik as little as possible.

as far as i can tell, hax had trouble fighting you because he had no idea what the hell you were going to do next. and i didn't either, trying to rationalize your decisions.

if you basically never play sheik, you can't figure out the character, and you not knowing what the hell you're doing is apparently your strongest advantage by a long shot.

Sounds like good Spacie advice too. :p
