okay... i'll... start watching them all... soon... large font.. is intimidating ...

*edit* finished watching the vids, only watched the singles

okay soooo you can disregard my comments completely if you think you're above them, maybe you are.

First, you do lots of unnecessary rolling, a trap most people do and sometimes i find myself doing. I must say, your spot dodging is good and helpful against a marth's shield breaker, so good job on that :] try to learn how to fox trot or just simply dash backwards so that you can re position yourself better to set up a better counter attack

your dashing up smash is good although one might say its overused so my solution to that is to replace it with a drephen combo xD or a boost smash if you haven't learned to pull that off yet

once you have the marth in a ftilt usually you are good with it, but your spacing in general for those tilts are a tad bit off, that can be fixed just by playing more so don't worry

for some reason you want to grab at extremely high percents yet i never saw you grab at low %, do it! its very useful xD

shield grabbing against marths are helpful but if the opponent is good at spacing its really useless... so practice shielding and maybe an aerial out of it, also, on the comment about grabbing, practice doing the slide shield grab, or whatever that's called

onto the topics of aerials, it seems like you either have carried on your melee sheik over and haven't made the fine adjustments yet because you are just spamming those fairs! fairs are great and all, but bairs usually are more useful given the situation

glad i didn't see too many dairs.. god i hate those xD and use uair more to just mix it up

and... my most stressed point for you is... USE YOUR NAIR! god i was saddened by the complete absence of it, if you used it in those three matches i'm sorry that i missed it, but ****, your nair is a viable kill move and can kill people at slightly lower percents than a fair can, (by like 10%... so.. yeah.. not much of a deal), and also, since you're spamming that fair, the nair has no diminished attributes so god use it! xD haha

and work on your ledge guarding/ off stage battles, you can kill a marth at 80% if you somehow catch him off guard and land a fair when he's off the stage (usually he'll just fair you first if he sees what you're doing though xD)

i love a marth vs sheik match up :] hehe thanks for the vids, sorry if my comments mean nothing to you as that i don't have much merit

I only saw the second video, but here's waht I think:

00:13
You might'ave panicked, but you had a chance to charge up a smash attack.
01:42
Looks like you could'ave shield-grabbed
02:17
the chain might'ave been a better choice

That's just a list of your worst mistakes in that game. Overall, you two are pretty good.

definitely work on the edge guarding. I saw you just standing on the stage or charging needles when you could have ko'ed. i noticed in the first vid that you overused the forward tilt hoping that kirby would decide to somehow jump into it, so watch out for that. I agree with imdavid in saying that you need to grab more at lower percentages. You have a lot of options out of Sheik's down throw for combo's or mind games. Last thing i noticed was that in the kirby match you got into needle wars with him a lot. charge up and save them for when your opponent least expects them. That way you can get in easy damage against your opponent without wasting them or being hurt in the process.

HAH, your shiek SUX! SUX I TELL YOU!

Anyway, look at this vid: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3vUjsV7x21E That's the one that's half cut off.

1:14 - 1:24
You got me from 0% to 74%. I think you should implement your tilts into your game more often.

Now, can someone recommend me a way to get out of sheiks tilts? Would marth's b up do it? or maybe DI away from them? I have no way to test that w.o. a partner D:
PS. You can tell me, I'll keep it secret :)

haha, yah that's the best, it usually works well because your opponent tries to hit you after an ftilt with the shortened hit stun, so you can easily shield grab xD

i think im going to try that out to see the outcome.
also, what are the spacifics about sheiks forward tilt ?
i noticed the lag after one tilt depends on the part of shieks
leg you hit with.what part do i have to hit with to keep them
in a lock ?

they have to be in the mid range to the foot area, the foot actually hits them forward where as if they are too close into the inner leg they can get hit out, the problem with hitting with the foot is that at proper low levels the foot won't hit them high enough to continue a tilt lock and they will touch the floor and then roll out, do a jab, shield grab, etc. However, if the ftilt hits them just a tiny bit above the floor and they do not touch the floor before the second ftilt lands, then usually you can do a ftilt lock

alright, I got some advice, that is if you wanna take em from a smash child. xD

1)your approaches consisted of only dash attacks or U-smashes, where both can be shield grabbed. fix this by waiting for the opponent to approach instead of you just charging in all the time. or just vary up your approach
2)try more b-air or n-air as kill moves
3)rolling is a requirement in brawl, but there's too much of it.
4)save your U-smashes until you need them. unless you plan on killing with zelda
5)grabs?
6)edgeguard.

empty short hops, reverse needles still work (not as useful by a lot), cross over bairs, fox trotting, dash dancing, ledge stalling, etc etc
