Watch a metaknight combo video, there's a thread full of them. It'll basically tell you all the things affinity said....except some people only have the option to play online. >_> I don't know anyone anywhere near my playing level and there are obviously tons of people better than me across america.

Affinity, there are no good people around my area. The only way to face them for me is online. The rest of the advice I'll keep in mind. And yes, REDHALBERD, I'll check out Metaknight combo videos to give me new ideas when battling.

If theres nobody good around to play. Makes some freinds play them and make them good.
I have friends. The problem is that they're not willing to get better because it's either not their interest, think they're already good (even though I can crush all of them), or have other things to do. My best friend is the only person I can think of that would want to get better. He's busy for the most part. Hence, why I use online. I hope you understand. :)

-Although d-smash is a good move you shouldn't spam it since each execution you lose damage to a certain point. Use it at points where your opponent is rolling around you.
-Be in the air more.
-Running up-smash to punish ike's lag isn't going to work for the less lagged characters.
-Not sure here but you're either trying to use the camping MK strat or you're waiting for your opponent to make a move. MK should be up front since he's so fast being able to follow up with his many fast moves leaving no room for his opponent to get a breather.
-Lack of Mach Tornado. Use this at times when your opponent is comboing/controlling you. It will put him/her off the timining and gives you a chance to get back on track.
-Very repetitive. Try using moves that you will able to space yourself like f-air or b-air.
-Perfect Glide cancel always. You're always canceling the float mid air and leaving yourself for some potential death because of it.

If that Ike used the A-combo i am sure of it that you would've lost.

Mach Tornado is a move I rarely use. I'll incorporate it more into my fighting style. And I am aggressive. Just wasn't as aggressive as I usually am with Metaknight in that match. Thank you for the advice, guys. :)

Use more b moves , and you need to practice your edge fighting more. Also try to be more Aggressive and down the throat of you opponent. You tend to just stand still and shield a lot.

[possibly just for when you're facing Ike]

Grab more. The lag behind Ike's attacks should allow you to dash grab very easily if you pick your spots right. Most Ike's are pretty predictable, so dash grab is something you should incorporate, if only when you're facing an Ike.

Use more Tornado to offset opponents.
Apply more pressure (shorthop + f/b-air).

I used to think that. But you will be surprised which friends will play at a higher level of play, if you can't find friends that are into that: make new ones. Rinse, repeat you will EVENTUALLY find someone.
