Hard to say, since your opponent didn't put up too good of a resistance.
One thing you should work on is your laser game. In the beginning of the first match, it looked like you were trying to SHDL, but both your lasers were going over Rob's head, which means you're not doing it right.

That shouldn't stop you. If you push every advantage you have to the limit, your opponents will be forced to get better in order to counter it. Then, you'll be forced to get better to counter them. Thus, everyone improves. If you remove "cheap" tactics, you never advance beyond that particular stumbling block.

Cheap is just kind of a word for tactics that people don't know how to deal with so they get frustrated. Falco has a few "cheap" moves but the trick to overcoming it is just to show them where they're making the mistake of getting hit by it and how to get around it. So then you both improve and the game is more enjoyable.
That Robot was awful, but for the record you can't chaingrab robots, you have to spike them and grab them again.
You had some interesting combos, but you guys should take a little time to learn about DI (helps in not getting combo'd) and work it into your game, just search around.

yeah te level difference between you and your friend makes it a bit hard to see your level. anyway as said above use your lasers to that the opponent approaches in the rob match especialy he watch just wait for you to come and punish your attack. short jump more and be aware that against a better player you won't be able to land those 5 consecutive hits and edgeguard him so easely.
