Me v Aesis a week ago (tournament, Losers Finals):

Match One
Two
Three
Four
Five

Me vs Lucky (tournament):

Match One
Match Two

Lucky wasn't playing very well but I still got ***** pretty hard. I like to think Sheik v Fox is pretty even, but playing his Fox makes the matchup feel hopeless. It's so hard because you get one or two legitimate openings per stock, and since he's so fast you want to rush yourself because there's not much window of opportunity, but at the same time you know you have to be perfect yourself to have a chance. Ugh.

Me vs HugS (Money Match):

Match One
Match Two
Match Three

The match with Hugo is a lot more interesting, since we have similar defensive styles and are both patient players, obviously him more so than myself. His Samus is not close to the Hugo of old, but it's still pretty **** good and very intimidating (you can see some of that intimidation on the last stocks, and the last match on Battlefield especially). I play super defensive vs Hugo because he always looks for you to overstep your boundaries and punishes you thusly. Funny enough, because I was so defensive with rolls I got a ton of grab opportunities because his grabs kept missing.

You seem to like to WD.

WD out of shield is broken, better than rolling in almost every situation.

That's good advice. The only reason I roll non-stop is because I've never had a better go-to option, so thanks for that.

How do you beat technical Foxes like LoZR? :(

good question. the last great technical fox i played was infernoomni at VLS. it was...insane. i would be coming down from the air and say "i could fastfall nair tricksie or airdodge back...lots of options since he's far away" and BAM, running upsmash hits with the tip of the frame to where the animation doesn't even show him touching me. that happened like 6 times, and it's really hard to handle. the only thing i tried that seems to work is to go hella rabid. technical foxes are usually not used to playing defensive all the time, so if you put them in that situation, while they probably won't give up much, they can't **** you as hard :X

then again fox is still the only matchup i counterpick when i'm sheik...so yeh. could just be me solely hating foxes and loving every other matchup (especially falco and peach! what am i, nuts!?!)

i like your playstyle you just need to work on spacing. you can move forward and retreat in a ledgehop fair ;) a lot of little things like that made you take a ton of collateral damage, and vs a fox, each % added is just a faster way to die by uair or usmash :( just my $0.02 but yeah, that's the first thing i noticed.

Here is my basic strategy against foxes (ban stadium cause it's bad) use platforms if not FD with bair, nair. If it's FD wavedash around and get that grab and proceed tech chase. Dash attack is broken as well. ALSO REMEMBER TO FAST FALL

Tilt.

Inferno Omni is good as heck. We go waaaay back.

I'd still **** hm tho
lol
but nah seriously ;)

I ban Poke and go Marth if they CP FD or Yoshi's

do you have a strategy with regards to when you use dash attack? i know it's broken, but i know i don't use it enough, and the main reason i don't is because it's easily punishable and i know i don't know when to properly use it yet vs good players

to catch them dashing away, although i think boost grab is better at low percents, but it looked like lucky didnt dash away much XD, thats why i turn around and start givin em the bair to keep em at bay

hmm, dk64? its hard to kill fox there, he gets more out of the high platform+barrel, I just like Japes more, there is no more conventional sheik edgeguard on that level if u know how to use the water, and fox tends to get ****ed in the water

I recommend spamming dsmash and needles.

Also, is there a reason why Hugo wasn't really edgehogging you much in the first round?
