Well, I think it would be a good idea. The game would provide you with all of the simple tools you need (walls, platforms, moving platforms, targets, yadda yadda), and then you could just piece it all together. It'd be fun to have a really really hard but possible course to perfect with different characters. Plus, it'd be something you could send to your friends online over the Wii.

I like this idea. Just a custom level editor in general I thought was kind of silly, but that combined with being able to send it on-line would be golden!! hellz ya i hope the gamedeveloper ppls do this!

I, as well as many others (I think :p) would rather have a stage maker... or a BTP maker, or best yet, an adventure maker (last one is kinda off the wall, but...)

Any kind of level editor would own. I loved making my own maps in games like Timesplitters and Advance Wars. Having that in Brawl would make it even more amazing.

I always like these ideas, but they honestly never happen in Nintendo games. I'm not holding my breath. I'm just glad I have Lunar Magic to create SMW levels..

Very unlikely and there's more important stuff......
But I *definitely* wouldn't complain about a level-editor. Would actually allow you to get a replacement for the sort of stage that should be available for every n00b to practice in yet only existed for advanced players in Melee ( hint: Final Destination ).

Sorry for kind of ignoring the original BTT idea, I'm not much of an obstacle-course-highscore-getter.

I like the idea. It would make more sense than a create-a-stage option, since Target Tests are more simple than Stages.
