This would destroy whatever balance of Smash, even god couldn't make a create a character that wasn't broken in some way.

The closest thing Brawl could have to a create-a-character mode would be the inclusion of playable Miis. Otherwise, the diversity of character models and attacks in the series would make it a completely impractical to include such a mode. They'd basically have to include the developer tools in with the game, and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

If they had to include it, though I'm hoping they aren't, then the created characters would have to borrow the moves from the regular fighters.

Maybe that's what coins could be used for if they're not used to get them from a lottery. Buy moves, etc.

As for designing a created character's looks, I don't see how they'd do that.

maybve they'd have a thing where u pick the body, head and arms and legs etc.. just from basic models. but ya u would probly just pick the moves.

This is true.

The game is fighting between characters from various series (as I've said so many times before. XD) A create a character would make it non SSB like.

That is unless it was an Animal Crossing character, which you'd only edit their appearance, but they're obviously Nintendo characters.

oh, there we go.

coins can be used to buy body parts too. imagine a Jigglypuff with Cpt. Falcon's arms and Bowser's legs using a Warlock Punch. shouting "Pikaaa!"

I really hope there isn't a CAC mode.

I don't like the idea of a create-a-fighter mode. So far the only one that has ever not been total crap was in Soul Calibur III, although it wasn't as diverse as others.

As for playable Miis, I don't like the idea. The best thing I could think for them to be is as replacements for wire frames.

that... would actually be sorta cool.

though I don't think Miis would "fit in" with the rest of SSBB, but if you're going to move on from polygons to wire frames then the next sensible thing would be full-model characters.

In your mind!
lol I agree with you on that, but there is other things, maybe it would simply be a custom wireframe or something like that, it all depends if there is anything that can go togeather...Maybe Custom Costums would be a better idea...LoL

Hyrule...OF COURSE!
The optional Characters would be fine as long as it was in a different mode, you choose attacks and body parts to create-a-character mode, that way you could have it in if you wanted, I'm sure that thre would be people that would love that (I'm not one of them, even though I would try it out). So I don't see why not, In thatmode you wouldn't be able to fight the ordinary characters unless you made them look just like them. The Custom Costume Idea is really cool
