Origami, folding paper, something to do to annoy teachers. Whatever you call it, it still looks awesome. This is just a showcase of origami that's on the web.

Wow, a praying mantis eating another praying mantis. It's made from a square with no cutting or gluing! Designed by Mr. Robert J. Lang.

Kraken Attack! One square, no cuts, Brian Chan

This is probaby Satoshi Kamiya's most famous creation. The Ryu-Jin. Btw, everything here is made from one uncut square unless otherwise noted.

Man pouring water. Designed by Hojyo Takashi.

This is Mooser's train. It is folded from a rectangle. The longer the rectangle, the more boxcars.

So? What does everyone think about these?

wow. That's really cool. All I know how to do is an origami samurai hat. This blows anything I can make out of the water ten fold. Ain't origami great?

Yea, the sad thing is, all of these great models don't have diagrams. If your super smart, you could try and crack their crease patterns.

I love making cranes. Slowly, and not really regularly, I make more and more, cause I plan on getting to 1000 so I can be immortal, or whatever happens at 1000.

These are truly masterpeieces. I really enjoy all of the origami shown here, but the The Ryu-Jin origami that Satoshi Kamiya created is just a piece of ingenious work; I really like the scales, looks very realistic. Unfortuantely, I tryed making very simple origami but then failed.

All of those besides the train probably took them > 8 hours to make. The coolest thing that I've ever made looks somewhat like this:

This is the Phoenix 3.5, also designed b Satoshi Kamiya.
Mine just looks a lot little more crumpled.
The only way to fold this is using a crease pattern. Diagrams do exits though they are unofficial, hard to understand, and may be illegal.
