I haven't done it, but it's a useless tech lol XD! From 64-Melee we got Charagable Smashes, Analog Shields, >B Moves, and other little things. From Melee-Brawl we got Swimming, CLIMING, CRAWLING, gliding, and the Final Smash (which is there just to appease the casual gamer). **Sigh** I'm just a bit upset. TOOOOOOOOON LIIIIIIIINK!

Good question. From what I know only a few choice characters like Pikachu, Bowser, ZZS, and others can do it. I think it's performed by holding down and forward. I'm not sure what kind of advantages it would provide, unless it makes you flinch less or something. I was also thinking that it could help you hide or something. Perhaps when you crawl players won't see your nametag or something, so you could sneak up on people. I dunno.

Well, swimming would have been so he could justify all the water in the levels. Climbing is an easier way to get up really high platforms I guess. Gliding seems potentially useful for recovery. But I don't get what crawling would be useful for at all. Projectile-dodging?

Crawling was implemented so crafty competitive players can create advanced techniques such as the Rising Wavecrawl.

We'll also get edgeswimming and crawldancing at some point.
