Crates: The ultimate edgeguarder?

This is kind of a joke, but it would actually make sense. What if a Crate sitting on the edge prevented people from grabbing that edge? It'd give them more of a strategic purpose, other than just choosing which direction to throw it.

Now that I think about it, you should be able to put down a carrier gently by pressing L/R.

What if the crate were explosive? That would suck. Also, not every character's B^ inflicts direct damage (Captain Falcon and Ganondorf, for example).

Of the characters's upBs that DO inflict damage, nobody has an upB that inflicts ENOUGH
damage to smash a crate in one...

Well, with the ^Bs you could possibly go through the box, which is another way, but you possibly can't.

Besides, landing on top of it wouldn't be too hard, and if the player who put the box there got on it, it would probably roll of the edge.
